As someone who suffers terribly from PMLE (often called a sun allergy or prickly heat reaction to sunlight), I’ve struggled with sun exposure for years. For the past 4+ years, even short periods in the sun would trigger a very itchy, boil type prickly heat–type rash on my skin. Once it appears it tends to stick around for quite a while, and I’ve even had it appear on my hands just from driving on a sunny day when they’re exposed through the windscreen. It makes summer days so miserable and I’ve tried so many different sunscreens, strong antihistamines and even spoke to my GP about it, but nothing stopped or helped the reaction. I decided to try these capsules alongside my usual sunscreen routine and, surprisingly, they’ve made a noticeable difference for me. I’ve been able to spend time in the sun without getting the same rash I normally would. Everyone is different of course, but after years of trying different things this is the first product that has helped me manage my sun sensitivity. I still use sunscreen and don’t rely on these alone, but as part of my routine they’ve been really helpful!

I get this specifically to stop my scalp from burning as I can’t apply spf there. It works. I like knowing I’m getting at least a bit of sun protection if I miss a spot with my sunscreen

For the last few summers I have suffered, due to lupus if I went out in the sun for more that 30 minutes, covered up and with factor 50 on I would get so ill. This has changed my life, I can go on days out again and have no ill effects for my sun sensitivity.

I have tried lots of different tablets creams and they work for a few days. but these plus the water base suntan cream work brilliantly together.

Didn’t help with my sun allergy ( which some did say it does, worth a try but no luck unfortunately) and my partner also got burnt and it is meant to help to prevent burning and we used factor 50 suncream alongside. I personally wouldn’t recommend but others do say it helped but not for us.
