Works perfectly

Using this on Escort 9500IX. Actual replacement cord from Escort is over $100. Not worth it. Keep in mind this is a basic power cable. It doesn’t have the silence button or anything else that the original does. I rarely used that button so rather save $90 with this.

The jack has better stress relief in this design than the previous. Good and stiff.

Cord works fine for my R7, just too short and pulls the radar detector off my mounts because it's too tight.

Perfect works great with my Escort 8500 radar detector, very durable ideal length.

I bought this and it didnt work. Didnt send it back to much for to little. Like to get one that works for a older uniden R 3. I hate to oay 4 things teo times. dont want to give u a bad review. But do the right thing this time Paul Henry

I purchased this power cord to replace the factory cord that was several years old and damaged by the sun. If you plan to mount your detector low with no strain on the cable, this will work okay. To get the distance they promise in the description, like many need when mounting their detector high, the cord will need to stretch. This seems to break the connector at the detector end with any kind of downward stress in just a few uses.

I ordered this for use with the Uniden R3 and it was the perfect fit, and works awesome!
