Works well.

I bought this pen to fix and brighten up the metal scarab that was attached to my Valentino bag. The scarab had scratches and while I was advised to get a new scarab piece from Italy I decided against it. The original coat on the piece is a matte gold unlike the metal on the strap so getting this shiny gold color was a good match. I took the scarab off, and gave it two coats. I let the metal piece set for 24 hours because I didn’t know how long it took to set. The finished job looks beautiful and it was so easy to use.

Purchased to make the gold in my mirror “pop” more. The gold really does look beautiful and gives a gold leaf effect. I used about half of one pen. Super easy to use! I actually ended up using it for some other smaller projects/decor that I was going to spray paint but decided this would be an easier experience. Added bonus: Dries fast! And obviously not made to have for months so I’d purchase/use within a month or so.

Favorite pen for gold leafing around edges. Good ink flow, dries quickly and comfortable to hold.

I purchased this pen for hobby use. Mainly to do some repainting on a few action figures and model kits. I bought 2 different brands because, well you can never really tell how they'll turn out. However this pen was the hands down winner. A few coats and man did it do the trick! Not too glossy and appears to look like solid gold! The tip though is the biggest drawback. Its mainly flat and cannot be used on small area details. Simple fix is the take a tray or paper plate and push the pen down to leave a small amount of paint on it. Do not empty out too much as it will dry rather quickly! My photo is of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection Goldar I repainted. Its original color was almost a mustard yellow. That is the end result of my work using this pen.
