I am teaching my own children Spanish, starting from zero, and this book is great for that. It is aimed for kids and has enjoyable activities, coloring, and fun things to learn the basics of Spanish. I also teach Spanish one at high school, and while these are more aimed towards kids, there are some good things that I am able to use in my class. For example, colors, days of the week, numbers, and other such things.

My child has been learning Spanish for a little while, and this workbook has made it so much fun. The lessons on the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and seasons are easy to follow, and the activities really keep my kid engaged. I’ve noticed them using new words in conversation already, which is so exciting to see! It’s clear a lot of thought went into making the workbook both educational and enjoyable. If you want a beginner-friendly way to help your kids learn Spanish and actually enjoy it, this workbook is a gem.

I love this book. I am glad I chose this one out of all the other ones. I'm sure there's other good ones but I love the simplicity of this one. The colors were nice not overbearing and overstimulating, the book really does start with the basics. I am Spanish, it is my first language and feel the pronunciation was pretty accurate. I haven't seen every single page to see if there was any mistypo but I would say at least from my experience up to now, it's a great book for beginners. My son doesn't read or write in Spanish so I bought this with the hopes he will gain the knowledge he needs. We no longer live in times when English will do. There is real competition out there. Learning a second language is a very important skill set to have so I congratulate all parents buying these books, encouraging and teaching their children to learn a secondary language.

My nine-year-old son is getting ready to start learning Spanish, and a friend recommended this workbook to us for learning the basics. Since we’re starting from the very beginning, I wanted something geared toward elementary-age kids that wouldn’t feel overwhelming, and this looks like a great fit. The lessons are very beginner-friendly and cover things like the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, seasons, and other basic Spanish concepts. I also like that it feels interactive and engaging rather than just pages of vocabulary to memorize, which I think will help keep my son interested as we work through it together. My only concern is pronunciation. Since I’m teaching him myself and don’t speak Spanish fluently, I wish there were a little more help with how to correctly pronounce some of the words. I think there will be a learning curve for both of us in that area. Otherwise, I’m really happy with what I’ve seen so far. It seems well organized, easy to follow, and like a fun way for kids to get started with Spanish. We’re excited to learn together!

I love this work book! You can easily make a full curriculum out of it and it hits all the major language learning areas. I would say this is even good for a teenage as well. These pages were well thought out with reinforcement in mind but creatively done so that it doesn't feel repetitive. My kids have been going through it for a while year now and taking g their time and not rushing through it. It would be awesome if there was a part 2 for this...I would certainly get it!

I love this book for teaching my son Spanish. He’s already a good reader so that makes it even easier. I mean the kid doesn’t know how to read or write or even speak Spanish, but he’s picking it up pretty quick with this book. Will definitely buy more if they have it in other language languages just to learn.

I am an adult who has decided that they finally want to learn to speak Spanish. I felt that I needed to start at the very beginning to develop a solid base to build on.. This book has really been incredible. It starts with a very basics and does a great job helping me master them. I highly recommend it. It is colorful, well laid out and easy to follow.

Thank goodness I found this! I’m a 44-year old woman who recently decided to learn Spanish after my husband took a job with a company that employs lots of Spanish speakers. I began tutoring but needed something more to help me with the basics. This book is doing the job!! I don’t care that it’s for kids, I’ve learned so much and am feeling more and more confident. ¡Aprender español es divertido!
