Ultimate Citrus Tool, Yellow

This is by far my favorite grater. I grate turmeric, ginger, and garlic daily on it, and it is the perfect size. Alas, nothing lasts forever and I have to replace them every so often as they tend to bend and crack in the middle from the pressure. But, they are the best!!

I loved this tool. But after one year the plastic handle broke. I dont even zest that many lemons.

This is the best citrus grater we have found. My daughter uses it nearly every day, and the zest she adds to her dishes really set them apart. She zested the crust for her cheesecake and has the blue ribbon at the Orange County Fair!

Be warned! If you order from this company, make sure you are going to get the product they picture. I ordered what they clearly pictured as a small yellow tool with rounded edges, an oval/football shaped handle, and accessory tools attached to the side of the grater. I was shipped a much larger, green, rectangular tool with a flat, rectangular handle, and accessory tools attached to the bottom of the handle. Not what I wanted, and I'm not happy, to say the least!

I have used this grater for several months now (these 3 were purchased for family and friends who cook a lot) and am amazed every time I use it by how well it grates. I haven't given it 5 stars ONLY because I'm not sure how sturdy the plastic is and how long it will hold up to long use. The protective cover is a bit difficult to remove, which seems like a good idea as it is supposed to protect from the incredibly sharp grating area. My 1st Microplane (all metal on that one) grater's cover was lost very soon after purchase, and the grating part is still FRIGHTENINGLY sharp. Since I'm familiar with this type of grater, the metal microplane portion will be sharp for years.

I've owned 2 of these. like most reviewers, the plastic edge breaks pretty early in ownership, and the entire surface will begin to warp until it's not useable. I liked the ability to cut strips for mixed drinks, but I won't be re-purchasing and will stick with a longer stick-like zester.

This tool is a winner. You simply scrape it across the fruit while holding the handle. No scraped knuckles or ruined fingernails. the surface is sharp so take care. It cleans up easily and does come with a protective sleeve. So far, no rusting. Enjoy, it is worth the price.

I bought this for my mother after having an amusing time trying to zest lemons with 3 different zesters at her house. We own the microplane citrus tool and have never had any issues with it, so I knew it was the perfect tool for rind grating :)

Reçu aujourd'hui, pas encore essayé. Mes 1ères impressions : je confirme un commentaire précédent pour l'étiquette collée par le fournisseur sur la lame : j'ai été obligée de recourir à un produit chimique anti-adhésif pour m'en défaire. D'autre part, le cache-protecteur en plastique transparent, censé protéger la lame a cassé dès la 1ère fois, pourtant, je l'ai enlevé de la râpe très doucement, sans forcer. Pour le prix, on pourrait s'attendre à de l'irréprochable. Déçue, donc, dans un premier abord. À voir à l'usage.

普通のおろし器よりも、裏につきがちで、食器のふちで叩かないと落ちません。 最初に、おろす金属部分の裏にシールがベッタリはってあり、今でも完全には剥がれていません。そのせいでおろしたものがくっついてしまうのかも知れません。 それから、カバーを外すのがものすごく困難なので、付けない方がいいと思います。 サイドの刃は何に使うのか、説明書きがなく、未だにわかりません。

It was a great grater, but within 4 months of light use (less than once a week) it broke - the plastic surround around the metal grating strip broke in about 4 places leaving it unusable as the grating strip isn't rigid on it's own. On unpacking, the guard/shield was difficult to remove and therefore never used again. And the grating strip itself was covered in stickers which were difficult to remove. So - it's expensive grater, isn't durable and is a pain to open / use the first time. Choose a different one.

基本的にはとても使い勝手の良い商品だと思います。ただ、別の方も書かれているようにカバー部分が弱く、そのせいで歯の部分もしなってしまい使い物にならなくなってしまいました。

E' insuperabile per le zeste che affetta in due diverse larghezze e come grattugia qualitativamente è simile allo zester classico di Microplane, con un valore in più: è più corto e maneggevole e la grattugia più larga velocizza il lavoro.
