BEARPAW Women's Layla Sandal

These have a molded footbed that is comfortable with my plantar fasciitis. They do not bind my ankles or chafe when I walk. They are glued together, not stitched. The rubber sole is textured to look like sewing but they are actually glued. They will probably last through the summer and maybe into fall. For my usage, that is sufficient and they certainly have the price point compared to vibram and merrell brand gladiator sandals.UPDATE: two years later they are still ok! Soul separated a tiny bit where it’s glued but other than that, no problem! 🙂

These sandals were right what I was looking for! Very comfortable and classy. Although we're tight around my ankle when fully zipped, but fit perfect everywhere else.

Size-wise, it fit like a charm. (I'm a size 8.5/9, got a 9) Looks-wise, they are SO CUTE. Design-wise, they are somehow simultaneously totally comfortable and a tiny bit uncomfortable. Basically the entire shoe fits like a dream and is comfortable, but YES, you will slightly feel that top of the zipper in your ankle. I expected it, because of the design. I tested it out to see if it really cuts in, and - it's nothing serious. It's just a drop. Nothing that would leave a real mark on skin. You can also choose to leave it just a bit unzipped. I'm keeping. 4 stars just because of the annoying ankle thing.

Dude.This is the best investment I’ve made in myself in a while.I’m a full-time caretaker for my grandma who has Alzheimer’s.This is a hard job with a lot of standing and waiting and running around.I needed something cool, easy to put on, and with ample arch support.I have really high arches but these babies seem to do it for me.I’m someone who prefers being barefoot but sadly back/spine issues dictate I can no longer be—this is the next best thing.I’ve been wearing them for three days, 10-13 hours a day and they are already formed to my feets!!They *feel* like old lady shoes yet look super freaking cute!My hubby even commented a few times how much he likes them and he isn’t a footwear commenter. 😂My shoes don’t usually last long however these feel up to the challenge so far.SO STOKED.WILL BUY ANOTHER PAIR TO HAVE AS BACKUP!!!!!!!BUY THEM!!!!!!

These sandals are so comfortable that I want to buy them in every color available. I purchased a pair with the white/ gray snake skin pattern and it looks amazing! I get compliments from total strangers all the time. The colors look a bit lighter in the photo but in person whites are creamier and the grays are warmer and I absolutely love it! I have always been intimidated by animal prints but this pattern is very elegant and the neutral colors go surprisingly well with all kinds of colors and patterns. I wear a size 9M and the fit is perfect. These might be my favorite sandals ever!

I wear a 7.5 flat shoe, so I ordered the 8 as they don't have 1/2 sizes. It's a tad big, except in the ankle. I fear a 7 would have been too tight in the ankle. Isn't cushioned much. Needed to add arch support as I plan on walking in these while on vacation. With arch insole, foot doesn't shift as much, so that's good too; I was fearing blisters on my big toes. Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't buy again as a walking shoe; my arch needs more support, and I need a 7.5. If your arch isn't high, and you are a 7 or 8, might be fine for you.

These shoes are really cute. My only complaint is the zipper is really hard to zip and unzip due to the stiffness of the zipper itself. But with multiple times of zipping it back and forth it has become a little easier. My husband is going to put some wax on it to try and make it easier. They are a little tight around the ankles, but I have thin ankles so they fit me okay. I think they will loosen a little as most shoes do stretch over time. I bought the tan and I really like the color. If your ankles are a little bigger they probably won't fit. I am satisfied overall with the shoe and like I said they are really cute.

I purchased these at the beginning of summer 2019 and they lasted me for one summer, through some rugged use. They are cute, relatively comfy, and versatile, which are the reasons I liked them. However, the faux cork did start wearing off as pictured, and I am now using WD 40 on the zipper to see if I can get a few last uses out of them.I love that I could wear them for pretty much any event or activity. They can be dressed up, or used for hiking. The zipper was tough to pull from the beginning, but now it’s really too tough to close or open. For the price, these were what I needed for a summer, but I would have liked them to last longer!

Très jolies chaussures, semelles confortables et qualité de fabrication.Je retire une étoile pour l'étroitesse, surtout au niveau de la cheville lorsque le zip est fermé. Le curseur se trouve tout contre la peau, une fois zippé, ce qui occasionne inconfort et risque de blessure. Il aurait fallu une petite portion élastique sur la sangle entourant la cheville ou le long du zip pour donner un peu de souplesse et de confort. Ce manque de souplesse et de "loose" me fait craindre que le zip ne finisse par céder/se briser lors de la tension exercée lors de la marche. Après une longue journée, et tant que les chaussures ne sont pas plus souples, je défais les zips de quelques crans pour soulager autant le dessus avant du pied (au sommet du zip) que le zip lui-même.
