It works!
I purchased this for use as a base to keep alcohol markers from bleeding through pages in adult coloring books. I found it very easy to use and put two thin coats just to be sure it was well protected. i was a little skeptical, but also very pleased that it worked great-- No bleed-through. Just know that it does cause the paper to curl a little. I weighted it overnight after it dried which helped with the curling, but it still curled a little along the edges. It worked great for markers, so I tried gel pens and colored pencils on the same page. The gel pens sit on top of the paper instead of being absorbed which leaves a shiny appearance on the page and resulted in a longer drying time. The colored pencils worked fine, although it did produce a grainy texture with the pencils. It still looks good, especially with the base coat of the alcohol markers. It's a good product, goes on easily and evenly, dries quickly, and produces the dersired effect. I'll keep in on hand from now on.

Best quality acrylic glaze.
Love all Golden products. American made and best quality. This glaze I add to my paints or use as a top coat if you don’t want to use a clear. Will buy again.

Miracle cure for using acrylic paint
Miracle cure for acrylic painting. I struggled with acrylics for over a year trying to conquer them for my southwest paintings. Oil takes to long to dry in Fl. I saw this stuff I bought last year but never used it. I did a test run with a small, test sample painting today and it blended like butter....Love the texture and response. There's hope I may conquer acrylics yet. I really felt like I was painting with oils.

Love This Product!
Works great with acrylic paint! Definitely a need for any artist who paints. Easy to use and blendability is fine. Paint adheres and dries normal. I would definately buy again when mine runs out.

Good product
I recently purchased the Golden Acryl Med 8 Oz Glaze Liquid Satin and I’m thrilled with its performance. It’s incredibly easy to use and does a fantastic job when layering paint to achieve shadows and depth. The glaze blends well and extends the working time of my acrylic paints, preventing them from drying too quickly. Additionally, I love the finish it gives my paintings. I wish I had it to use on the previous portrait I did; it would have come out so much better. It’s a great product and I highly recommend it. The only draw back is the cost.

Great Product
This is an excellent product to add to acrylic paint. It prolongs drying and adds a satin finish that is very subtle.

Makes Acrylics like OIL PAINTS!!! ...Finally found a Non Toxic option!!!
I have been searching for so many years---I have a serious neuro-immune disease (ME/CFS) and it causes me to have multiple chemical sensitivity, to an extreme degree. I love acrylics (especially Golden, they are the BEST) but I have always wanted to make paintings that look like oil paints. I have even tried the water soluble oil paints. and I fainted from the odors. Crushing, because I saved up a long time for a whole collection of the oils. So, I tried everyyyy acrylic medium I could find, to give the buttery smoothness of oils. The closest thing that I found was the slow-dry blending medium. (Not the slow-dry retarder, as the retarder is very limited on ratio of medium to paints.) But now, this is better!I am telling you, this is THE BEST additive / medium I have found, after so many years of searching! It sincerely transforms golden acrylics (especially open acrylics) into oil-like paints. The behavior of oils with the safety on acrylics!!! LOOOOOOVE!!!! ... THANK YOU, GOLDEN, for making such high quality products!!!

I Love This Stuff!
I follow a Canadian Artist who paints on YouTube every week. He recommends using Amsterdam paints and Golden Acrylic Satin Glazing Liquid. I'm new to painting so I'm still experimenting with glazing effects but it's a wonderful product. Not too glossy or shiny and it goes a long way. I've uploaded my version of the Glenfiddich Stag - Monarch of the Glen, where I used lots of glazing to get the colour changes and effects in the fur. I think this was the first time I'd ever used glazing fluid. I'm pretty happy with it.
