Paid 7 bucks for a six pack of these adapters. I have used 4 so far and all work fine. They fit any old charger cables that are micro USB. I have them on Motorola G cables. the charging cable for a Kindle, and even one from an old Samsung flip phone! They fit well. Snug right up to the other cable/device. I cannot attest to their speed. I usually charge over night or just casually in the evening while doing other things so it doesn't really matter. If speed is important to you, spend more than a buck a piece or just get new USB-C charging cables. Other than that, these allow me to use old cables and were a cheap alternative to immediately buying new chargers! *** Aug 2021, Okay, I noticed at one point the phone actually read, "charging slowly" and when using its own charger cable it read "charging rapidly". (This is plugged in.) And yeah it definitely took longer with the adapter. *** Sept 2021 Upon further review.... You need to "click" these into your device. I have discovered if I casually connect these I may get the "charging slowly" message on my phone. If I take the time to just give it one more push, I clicks in and the message goes away. So there may be a slow and standard speed on these things. I have yet to get the "rapidly" message but I'm not exactly monitoring these things either. All in all, for the price, they work and allow me to have a charging cable in two rooms, a travel bag and the car! *** Nov 2021 And another theory! The USB-C plugs are symmetrical. They can be plugged in facing "up" or "down". The USB micro plugs need to be plugged in facing the correct direction. I think, if you use an adapter, the old cord can get plugged in "upside down" -which would normally be physically impossible. I think that may be when you get the slow charging indicator. Just sayin'.

I am giving an early review to the ARKTEK USB Type C Adapter, 4-Pack Micro USB Female to USB C Male adapters as the product seems to be exactly as described and was delivered (?) when promised. Apparently Amazon has a supply of these on hand as there is no way they were delivered to me from China in two days. Having just received the product I can only attest to their fit and functionality as a charging connector since I have not had an opportunity to try them in a data transfer mode. As to the value, these four cost me less than one purchased at Walmart (their Onn brand). I cannot comment as to durability, since I have only had them for a few hours. If I find any functionality or durability issues, I will update this. If no update, they are still working still well.

I just love these adapters. I'm repurposing my older Android USB charging cables to function with my USB-C technology. The price is great. These don't completely slide down over the Android end, but they work beautifully.

I am currently using these to charge an HTC 10 and have actually had success on both regular 2.1amp chargers, and turbo charging adapters (specifically a Turbo 2 charger). I am elated to not have to replace all of my micro USB cords. This saved me a ton of money and has, for the most part, covered all of my charging station needs. Home x2, car, and office. I was hopeful that I would have different results from some of the reviews on here (regarding not working with turbo chargers), and I am happy to report that I did, it has worked flawlessly. I have tried numerous cords and they are a snug enough fit to be confident that you've made a connection and it will not fall off the cord itself, and not too snug to make you feel like you are either ruining your micro usb cord or the adapter. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.

They work

I previously stated this is a great product for the price but wasn't too happy with the longevity of the product as it seemed to get bend out of shape a little easier than I would have liked it to. After my comment ARKTEK customer service contacted me and wanted to correct that issue. They asked detailed questions and then even offered a replacement set. I am very impressed with their customer service. They really do seem to care. The adapter does its job and at the price is a great deal. I have learned to be a little more careful with it and have not destroyed another one in a few weeks. I use those as I do not want to have to replace all my numerous Micro USB charging cables and as long as you are a little careful not to put too much pressure on the connection itself, it's a great product, especially for the price, considering it saves me from replacing all my charging cables.

These are small and work well (fast + slow charging, data transfer all work fine), but one of them starting smoking and caught fire while I was charging my phone at an airport a few months ago. I immediately pulled the cable out, but the adapter had melted itself into the charging port. On closer inspection, it appears that the adapter had gotten _very slightly_ bent, and that this caused something to short-circuit inside. I managed to extricate the remnants of the adapter the next day, and the phone miraculously still works but… basically I would encourage you to double-check that your adapters are undamaged, and throw 'em out immediately if there's any visible bending or wear. There's clearly a fire risk, and a risk of damaging your devices.

This was an inexpensive, quick, easy, smart solution. Product works well and allows fast charging to flow through the adapter when used with a fast charging cable, as it should. After having several products with mico-USBs throughout the years especially fast charging, expensive Samsung chargers, I didnt want to buy new phone chargers to use with the Samsung S9 which takes the C charger. I am a person with a charger in every room and at work, in the car and on me. Thanks for creating this awesome product, I saved a lot of money by not buying new chargers. Now I want to find adapters for all old chargers such as reg USB. I like that thr adapters are available in black and/or white (in smaller quantity) and that they give you an extra one as a gift. Nice surprise.

No need to chuck the lightening cables or purchasing yet another cable. With this item they can be reused. Had it less than 24 hours, so time will tell how it performs in the long run. So far it is working well. I recommend this product.

Works to connect my FLIR One Pro Thermal Camera (which has a micro USB connector) to my USB-C equipped phone (USB OTG). Also I use them for charging USB-C devices from micro-USB charging cables. Handy that there are multiple in the pack so can store one with the FLIR camera, and others with chargers, or in case one is lost.
