Perfect fit for my Telecaster. The grooves on the socket were correct and fit the existing jack. I will keep the jack for future use if needed.

If you have a telecaster with the stock jack cup replace it with this. It never comes loose and it's very sturdy. The first telecaster I ever had was a MIM standard tele and the jack was always coming loose. I didn't know about these electrosocket jack plates back then. A few years ago someone told me about these and I put it on my parts Telecaster. Fit perfectly in the 7/8" hole on the Warmoth body. It's perfect in its simplicity. Just put another electrosocket on my Player 2 telecaster. It's a wonder that Fender hasn't copied the design and made it a stock feature.

Used this on my son's 2004 Squire Standard. It works great!

Good price and these are so much better than the old school ones with the stupid metal tab thingy.

Looks good and functions very well however because of the angle of the screw holes and the fact that the stem of the jack threads into the "cup", it's a bit tricky due to the length of the stem of the jack. More soldering than I expected. overall 30 minute install, should have been 10.

Very solid and hefty piece of hardware. I like the fact that it has screws to secure it to the guitar rather than using the flimsy piece of sheet metal wedged into the hole. it will not move around anymore. It was also very easy to install but it helped that I had previous soldering experience. However, it's a simple install so even with basic soldering experience, just about anybody could install this jack and plate.

The jack and jack plate are very good quality. I installed in my paranormal squier telecaster but had to drill out the jack hole in the body of the guitar to be 1 inch before it would fit properly. After much research, I found the best tool to use (for me it was a 1 inch hole saw very carefully drilled). Installing the switchcraft jack increased the overall output of the guitar. Had to turn down the amp because the guitar is noticeably louder! All in all, I'm pleased even though it didn't fit the OEM Squier hole initially.

This product has been misrepresented as the real Electrosocket and Switchcraft item and the quality is extremely poor. I have been using Electrosockets for many years and this one isn't even close to the real thing in size, fit or function. I will be returning it as soon as I am able.
