POLY Voyager Focus 2 Headset USB-A

Excellent product. Have used before and realised how good it was when issued with an inferior headset. Well worth the investment. Got a great Amazon Warehouse deal!

Good stuff: - Surprized by sound quality, Poly saved no money on speakers. Rich, crisp, vibrant sound across treble, mids and bass which I must admit sometimes prefer over my wired $350 Sennheiser paired with $400 headphone DAC/amplifier. All through Bluetooth, wow. Direct competitor Jabra Evolve2 65 is nowere near in terms of sound quality - I have both headsets to compare. - Comfy. I mean it. No pressure on my rather large head. Strong metal frame. Not made for sport though, tend to fall off if you happen to do yoga, but that is the last I would expect from an (home)office headset. Shame on Jabra whose Evolve2 65 is bulkier though fragile and not that comfortable to wear after few hours. - Mic and noice cancellation are good. Not superb but do the work. None of the headsets could match with a condenser microphone anyways. Bad stuff: - micro-USB charging port. C'mon Poly, in 2021 model?! - Boom arm mutes mic when straight in top up position. Move it accidentally a bit down and you are back on air whether you want it or not. Jabra has done it much better in Evolve2 65 where mic is on when you move it close to the level where your mouth is supposed to be. - Software glitches - none of them are critical or frequent but you might have to turn them off and back on sometimes. And not a single time during calls. Jabra has better software. Summary: After having Focus 2 I am sticking with Poly as a brand. Despite all the hiccups described above. Impressed by their desire to make their product right. It does feel. Not just a plasticky one-off thingy, designed only to extent to tick the boxes for marketing.

I bought it at a cheaper price but, item did not have the charging stand. Two issues with not having a stand. 1. You do not get the option to top up charge when not on voice. 2. The micro USB charging socket won't last forever and are known to break. As the device only contains 7 hours charge, imagine those who work a 12 hour chift at a call centre. Imagine. Plugging on to charge at every breaks and intervals. While there is presence of bass/low frequency. The overall sound quality lacked clarity. It is neither an audiophile headphone nor most clear sounding for voice. Switch to cancel noise has three options. Off, low and high. Did not have any impact when I tested. Mic is smart and far away from mouth and picks up voice good. But you can't put it close and speak lowering your voice like cheaper headsets. I did not find the fitting comfy as the thick round speakers will sit on your ears pushing it down and will not feel set very firm yet comfortably. Felt heavy on my head too.

3eme casque de la marque. Toujours aussi content. Parfait pour les nombreuses confcall mais aussi très agréable dans les transport. Son de qualité. Confort. Reducteur de bruit performant

La comodidad, calidad y peso son excelentes el micrófono es muy bueno, la supresión de ruido fantástico, el audio se escucha por arriba del promedio. Se conecta sin problema alguno a iPhone y laptop corporativa al mismo tiempo, puedes escuchar música en el iPhone y cuando usas laptop, hace un switch para priorizar el audio de zoom, Teams…. La app tiene bastantes opciones de configuración, fácil de manejar y sin bugs detectados al momento. La pila me dura 2-3 días de trabajo y carga en poco tiempo, acepta carga por cable mientras estás en conferencia sin comprometer la comunicacion. La base de carga muy pro, el cable de alimentación de buena calidad y el transmisor lo he probado en un radio de 12 metros con 2 paredes y planta baja sin presentar pérdida de calidad de audio. No lo lleve al límite de distancia aún. Simplemente lo volvería a comprar sin problema.

Il microfono filtra benissimo i rumori, in maniera paragonabile alle jabra evolve2 75. L'aspetto però è più economico rispetto a quest'ultime (ma anche il prezzo). ANC non così efficace, viste le dimensioni ridotte dei padiglioni. Non hanno hear through. Se l'obiettivo è quello di lavorare in ambienti rumorosi senza che l'interlocutore senta qualsiasi tipo di disturbo direi che è centrato. 27/01/2023 Aggiornamento dopo 6 mesi. Le adoro, audio sembre comprensibile in ogni situazione, non sbagliano un colpo. Le preferisco anche alle jabra evolve2 75. Si vede che è un prodotto ideato per lavorare. Vorrei precisare che sono cuffie professionali per lavorare in conference-call anche in ambienti anche rumorosi, non danno il meglio nell'ascolto di musica o nella registrazione audio.

I work from home, constantly in meetings. I had a previous Plantronics model that worked w laptop for 3 yrs before having issues and still works with phone, but given price point of that model, it was great and loved it. Then bought mid price point LEVN headset near holidays, it was Garbage! This just arrived, plugged in and got into call. Oh wow, this is incredible! Blocks ambient noise (kid in background w tv), incoming sound impeccable, headset is very comfortable. Love this headset! Very worth the price (on sale). Now looking forward to work meetings again after dreading them with the LEVN set for the last month.

Good investment for a professional setup. Good sound, comfortable for long calls. Noise cancelling is the best feature - blocks fan , mixer, dog barking sounds. Works with bluetooth and USB. The headset is imported i guess , hence takes time for delivery. Would recommend to buy a hard case.
