I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to set up, configure, and install these cameras. Everything worked right out of the box with minimal effort, and the instructions were very clear. The solar panels are a huge bonus—they keep the cameras charged without me needing to touch them. Even on cloudy days, they stay powered and fully functional. Image quality is outstanding—clear during the day and surprisingly sharp at night. The motion range and tracking of the camera is very responsive and covers a wide area. Shipping was super fast, and the price is very reasonable compared to other brands with fewer features. I also love that there’s no subscription required—local storage means I keep control of my recordings without monthly fees. Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase. Great value, reliable performance, and hassle-free operation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a solid home security solution!

1-Star Review: Legacy Compatibility & Connectivity Issues The Good: Improved Design: The device is compact and easy to place. The addition of a solar panel is a great touch, and the updated placement of the power button and USB ports on the bottom is a functional improvement. The Bad: Compatibility Failure: I purchased this specific model because it is identical to three others I’ve owned for years, which work perfectly with my DVR. Despite being the "same" model, this new version will not connect to the DVR. Mandatory Online Requirements: Unlike my previous cameras, this one requires an app and an online account to function. I should not be forced to use an app or stay online to use a device meant for local DVR recording. Message to Hiseeu: I have been a loyal customer, using your DVR and cameras for years. If you no longer offer a camera compatible with older DVR systems, it is not clearly listed. By restricting access to a mandatory app and online account, I can no longer support or recommend your products.

Works good (and keeps charged) if used in an area with low motion. When pointed at a busy road and told only to detect humans with the low sensitivity, the battery only lasts 5 hours. During daylight, solar panel is too small to charge. Bought one physically double the size and that works. Love the video quality but really dislike the continuous ads and how older (4 year old cameras) are no longer supported.

I have a Hisseeu wireless CCTV surveillance system, and I have been gradually switching the cameras out for solar powered Hisseeu cameras, so that I don't have wires running through my attic. One of the cameras didn't turn on, so I reached out to Amazon who referred me to Hisseeu. Hisseeu sent me a brand new camera in less than a week, and the new camera turned on just fine. I am very happy when a company stands behind their products, and I plan to purchase more solar powered cameras for the network.

The image quality is high, very sharp and clear. The instructions for installation and use are clear, the mobile app was free and it can capture 3 days activities without subscription. Solar Battery was never failed to power the camera. The function of the security camera is good enough and it was ease of installation. Overall we are very satisfied with this 4MP security camera.

This security camera will not hold a charge longer than 3 days and the solar panel will not charge it.
