Does this box hold almost ALL sockets wrenches sae metric and most screwdrivers and accessories?

Yes. I have a full set of 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" drive sockets in standard and metric, shallow and deep, ratchets, extensions, 2-3 full sets of metric and standard wrenches, at least a dozen screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrenches, lots of misc. small tools, etc. I use it as my main tool box in my shop and almost never have to open anything else. Only thing it's not great for are allen sockets or other things where there isn't a hole all the way through for the peg to go through. I keep those sockets in a separate drawer.

What kind of paint is the box finished with? Is it black non crinkle powdercoat?

It seems to be non crinkle powder coat, it has a good paint job. I’m happy with the quality of this toolbox in every aspect.
