Does the blood pressure cuff bulb easily squeezable? And does the needle spin when you squeeze it?

The needle does spin, but at least in my set, you have to squeeze the bulb much harder than I expect a young child to be able to squeeze it. The bulb isn't round, but more cylindrical shaped which makes it a lot harder to squeeze than it should be.
