Why does this filter need replaced after 6 months if i haven't used much water?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in our CF filter. Please note that the filter will be full of water all the time after initial use. So in order to ensure the water taste and quality, it's recommended to replace the filter every 6 months, especially if you don't use much water, which gives bacteria a better chance to grow inside the filter. I’ve tested the water after 6 months and it’s ppm is still good and there is no detectable bacteria so why do I need to change it?

Wenn alles so einfach wäre

Es ist schwierig, etwas über Gegenstände zu sagen, die für nur eine Sache bestimmt sind. Dieser Filter passt perfekt in das dafür vorgesehene Gerät und macht seinen Job. Die Demontage des alten Filters und die Montage des neuen Filters sind kinderleicht und es kann nichts schief laufen.
