Just buy the tea.
Bought this after combing through reviews. Was trying for a vbac after twins (so my uterus has seen some THINGS). Here’s what I found after using for about 5 weeks at 1-2 cups/day, starting at 35 weeks. Pros: - flavor is great, similar to chamomile, nothing overwhelming or bitter. Would drink if not pregnant - definitely tightens up uterus (not in a Braxton hicks way, but passively strengthening the muscle as you consume). I saw degrees of change by the 4th cup. - tightens pelvic floor - ummm HUGE PERK - I no longer peed when sneezing after drinking this for 5 weeks. (Will probs buy another bag since I’ve had baby just to tighten things up again down there) - colostrum came in SO early! Like within the week of starting drinking the tea. Which has benefitted from my milk coming in sooner as well. Could have harvested it if I wanted but preferred not to. Cons: - the price. It’s not great but since you don’t expect this to be a lifelong purchase and only seasonal in the 3rd/4th trimesters. Breaks down to about $1/cup. Not ideal for tea, but imo it’s worthy the price. - idk if someone posted this but this drink will NOT put you into labor. That’s not it’s job physiologically. Not as much a con, but in the frenzy of wanting to go into labor, teas like this get a lot of pressure put on them unnecessarily. Go have sëggs if you want to go into labor. Does this speed up labor/help in labor? - tbh after reading all the reviews and having my own baby after using it, hard to say yes/no. It was my 4th kid, so that has its benefits as well. I DO think it toned up muscles necessary for birth and has made postpartum bleeding lighter and my uterus more efficient. So in that way, I’d say it’s worth it.

Love LOVE Love the flavor and benefits
I am head to toes in LOVE with the company Pink Stork!! My experience seems to be a little different from most of the comments I’ve read... Majority of what I read here seems like soon-to-be mamas start enjoying this product between 35-37 weeks and continue until delivery. I didn’t have my first cup of Labor Support tea until I was 40w 3d, simply because I didn’t know it existed before then!! I almost canceled my order because I was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time (my prime order took one whole week to arrive— my only downside in this experience) but I’m happy I didn’t cancel because my baby was born at 41w. I enjoyed drinking this tea for only 4 days and even took a bath in it once (bath probably not needed but I collected/saved/used all the soaked bags before tossing them). It left my skin feeling nice even if nothing else. One complaint I read here was the packaging claims 30 servings, suggesting that each of the 15 bags is used twice and the second cup isn’t as strong. While I agree, it didn’t affect me so much because I didn’t have a long time to drink it but I understand why that would be frustrating if you are starting your regime at the 37w mark. The benefits during Labor: I am a first pregnancy/first time mom. I had a home birth supported by two midwives. While I had contractions throughout the week, my active labor was 4 hours and I pushed my baby out in 36 minutes. I know, I know, I’m one of those women that other women hate because of the smoothness of my labor. SorryNotSorry— I’m happy to give that credit to this LaborPrep product. In my defense, my entire gestation was hellish (nine solid months of daily nausea, vomiting after 9 of 10 meals, breath-stealing heartburn) so I kinda deserved a break come labor time. I only wish I found PinkStork sooner so I could have tried their prenatal and morning sickness products. I have since purchased the Postpartum Recovery tea and PostNatal pills. Pills seem great so far, nice aroma (I’ll review those separately) but I do NOT like the flavor of the recovery tea, so... I’m using up my leftover Labor Prep and steeping one of each bag in the same cup. Super strong tea but with a better flavor. Get this stuff. It works miracles.

Excellent
I bought this tea because I was trying to conceive once you pass the age of 35. It gets really hard for you to try to conceive so I drank this tea twice a day for a month the following 2 months by the 3rd month I was pregnant. I would suggest if you’re trying to conceive you should try this tea with taking your vitamins. And I actually love the taste. It taste good.

Did not realize it was sweetened. Was good but prefer to sweeten things myself

Good flavor
So I just got the tea a few days ago and have only been drinking it for a few days. I have 5 weeks left of this pregnancy, so I can’t speak on the “delivery” process that this is supposed to help with. But when I showed my mom the tea, she told me that the ingredients were perfect and probably something that we as women should be drinking all the time as they help with strengthening the uterus. To me, the taste is perfect! I just put boiling water in the cup, let it steep for about 5 minutes and then I drink it. I think it’s has just the perfect amount of sweetness. Now if you like your teas sweet sweet (you know who I’m talking about), you may want to add a bit of sugar. The bags are made to be used twice. So I make a cup in the morning. Then reuse the bag in the evening. This is a practice my mom had taught me anyways with teas to get the most out of them. Of course, the second cup will not have as strong of a flavor. But this is probably best anyways. Since I’ve started drinking it, it does seem that I have less back pain and heartburn than I used to. I don’t know if this is just a coincidence or if it’s part of the benefits. I didn’t read anything that said that it was supposed to help with that. My only complaint is that stevia is the sweetener that is used. But it doesn’t seem to be too bad with this mixture. But the first day I had a little bit of an after taste from it.

TOO SWEET
WAAAAAY too sweet! I think this is pseudoscience but hey I'll try anything at this point. I hope I never need to order more but if I did I would get UN sweetened! Only get the sweet one if you like a full tablespoon of sugar dumped in a small cup of tea.

Absolutely great!
I love this tea the aroma is so nice. The tea bag and string quality is great. In my opinion I don’t feel as if my energy level is changed after having it . I used this with both my kids and both delivered early, it’s a great value for what it costs.

I recommend
I really enjoyed this product. I thought the flavor was very good, and didn’t need any sweetening. As for it helping with labor and delivery? I can say this much... (and it’s quite a bit, but in order to accurately rate this, a bit of back story is in order) I used this for my second pregnancy, starting at about 30wks. My first pregnancy was fine, I was young, albeit a bit naive and ignorant. Come delivery day (I was induced at 41wks) I was unprepared to cope with all of it, although having an 11.2lb baby probably attributed to, well, all of that. After pushing for an hr, I got the epidural. Total time from the start of induction to birth was 14hrs, roughly. Not that bad for the induction of my first child. Total push time was at least 3hrs. Anyway, fast forward to now. I knew from the start there would be many things I would do differently this time around. I researched, I watched video after video and read article after article. I did exercises to help the baby be in the best position (first baby came out posterior, which is known to cause back labor). I ate very well, watching my carb intake (especially in the third trimester). I walked forever. Soon after I started drinking this tea, about 2cups a day, I started regularly feeling Braxton Hicks, all throughout the day, every day. Maybe it was coincidence, maybe it wasn’t? I got induced with this one as well because lucky for me, I grow big babies. I was induced at 39wks 4days. From the time they induced to the time I delivered was exactly 4 hrs and 1 minute. I pushed for less than 20 minutes and gave birth to my 9lb12oz baby girl without needing any pain management intervention (no pain meds, no epidural). So, maybe it was a combination of everything I did for this pregnancy and everything I did to prepare for the delivery, but I can 100% say that, for my next child, I will be using this tea again and I highly recommend it.

POWERFUL
POWERFUL STUFF. This tea needs a disclaimer!! Seriously… Be ready for labor.. I was not overly convinced about the efficacy of a tea but thought I’d try it as I drank the fertility tea from this company too. Well I drank ONE cup of this tea one cold night at 36 weeks pregnant and felt completely normal. I went to bed that night like any other. I was awoken to my water breaking and had my son 2 hours later. (First pregnancy) So I know everyone’s body is different and will respond differently, but if you drink this tea, be ready for your little one!

As described
Tastes great, didn't spike my gestational diabetes sugars. First time mom, labour was very fast. Unsure if it was the tea but I suspect it helped move things along quickly

Expensive tea
Taste it’s okay (too sweet for me) but what it really bothered me was that it’s only 15 tea bags for $35CAD! You have to reuse the tea bags, and when you prepare it for the second time it tastes like hot water with a little bit of tea and sometimes I didn’t want to reuse them cause the tea bag was there all day. So when my tea bags were finish (that was very soon cause I didn’t reuse them all) I preferred to just buy one box of raspberry leaf tea and another box of nettle tea for $5 each. So I take one in the morning and the other before I go to sleep.

Way too sweet
I would appreciate no sweetness added- we can add based on our personal preferences. I find this tea way too sweet for me. Haven't hit labour yet but will update to see if it is helpful.
