Would these work well for a ballet barre class? Do they have enough give for clam shell moves, or sideways walking squats?

If you have really slim thighs, you can probably make it work. The bands don't give much though, they're better for minimal movements. I like to stand and do lateral side lifts and they don't stretch as far as I'd prefer so I use a tougher resistance to challenge my muscles more.
