Honestly, this thing exceeded my expectations. The floodlights are ridiculously bright, which makes a huge difference at night, and the video quality is super clear. Motion alerts hit my phone pretty much instantly when someone walks by, so I always know what's going on outside. ​Install was pretty straightforward since I was just replacing an old light fixture, though wiring it up always takes a little patience. Once it was connected to Wi-Fi, setup took maybe five minutes. Camera angle is wide enough to cover my whole driveway without any weird dead spots. ​Definitely worth it if you want solid peace of mind without dealing with laggy feeds or dim lights. 5 stars for sure.

I purchased the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus together with the Ring Plug-In Mount for Cams, and it turned out to be an incredible combination. It was extremely easy to install—no complicated electrical wiring or electrician needed! Why I’m giving this Ring combination 5 stars: Extremely Easy DIY Installation: Pairing the Floodlight Cam with the Official Ring Plug-In Mount was a complete game-changer. Instead of messing with hardwiring or junction boxes, I was able to simply mount the unit on the wall and plug it directly into a standard outdoor outlet. The whole process took less than 15 minutes! Powerful & Bright 2000-Lumen Floodlights: The motion-activated floodlights light up my entire driveway and backyard effortless. The 2000 lumens make night coverage super bright, ensuring there are no dark corners left unmonitored. Crisp Video & Instant Motion Alerts: The 1080p HD video quality is super clear day and night. Customizing motion zones in the Ring app was straightforward, and I receive immediate notifications on my phone whenever movement is detected. Great Security Features & Alexa Integration: Having the built-in siren right in the app adds an extra layer of deterrence against unwanted visitors. Plus, it syncs seamlessly with my Alexa devices for hands-free convenience. Verdict: An outstanding, highly effective outdoor security setup. This is a nice floodlight cam. Super easy install (I previously had a hard wired motion activated floodlight in place). Set up was ez peezy. LED flood lights are bright, camera is clear (night vision also & has a color setting!). App controls are convenient. Adjustment after dark, sensitivity and zone coverage was a lil tricky. I needed to turn the camera and sensor as far left as possible to cover an entrance gate. When doing something like this you have to keep in mind the “zones” are fixed so adjust accordingly. Yes, you can hone into the exact area for coverage but you have to account for positioning. Also, had to lower sensitivity to lowest setting. Works well after tweaking. The bad news: you can’t swap out or replace LED bulbs so this is basically a “disposable” unit. Hopefully I get more than a few years outta bulb life… First screen shot shows perimeter lowered along fence line to decrease false motion detection. Second screen shot shows only right 1/3 of motion coverage b/c camera & motion sensor is positioned to far left. Hope that makes sense.

I have several Ring cameras around my home, and these floodlight cameras are some of my favorites because they serve two important purposes. They provide bright motion-activated lighting while also recording high-quality video, making them a great deterrent for anyone thinking about entering your property. I have one covering my driveway and another overlooking my backyard. Whenever motion is detected, the floodlights come on immediately, and I receive an alert through the Ring app. The app makes it easy to view all of my Ring cameras from one dashboard, so I can quickly check what’s happening around my home. Another feature I really like is the two-way talk. If someone is outside, I can speak to them directly through the camera from my phone. There’s also a built-in siren for added security if needed. If you’re already invested in the Ring ecosystem, this is an excellent addition. The combination of bright floodlights, reliable motion detection, and video recording makes it one of the best security upgrades I’ve made for my home.

Liked and would recommend. Item arrived on time and tech I hired said it fit well & was not difficult to install. FloodlightCam was Installed 2 months ago and still working well outdoors on a pole connected via wifi indoor. Only electrical connection was needed. No network cable was needed. Floodlights levels can be adjusted and scheduled (I chose dusk-to-dawn). Ring App installed on phone was easy and works well with other Ring FloodCam and Ring Doorbell. My wife and I get notified of motion anywhere we are in the world. I like the 2-way talk feature on all Ring devices. I also like feature that announces "Hi, you are currently being recorded" when it detects motion. Not entirely fond that it is seemingly locked to Ring brand device family & $ubscription-Connecting to my home NVR was not possible, and if not ONVIF compatible, is user-hostile to anything "non-Ring". Despite above, still Glad I made purchase and now have Ring FloodlightCams in both front and back of my home as well as Ring Doorbell, and am enjoying greater security having them. Still would recommend.

I have several ring cameras in and around my house. They are the best. I have neighbors with little dogs that they allow to roam free at night and they use the bathroom on my grass in the dark. That has come to an end now that I have they spot cameras that light the night up. I love that they are per-programmed for the lights to come on at night with motion, but not during the day. They do record with motion at all times. I also like the audio that says, “You are being recorded” because the person with the dogs can here it. Pros Functionality – very easy to use with the ring app. There are a lot of how to YouTube videos. Ease of installation – simply scan the UR code with your phone or watch YouTube video. Quality – best cameras with lights I have ever used; tried others over the years Picture quality – excellent detail at night Brightness – very bright for security purpose, not as bright as a dedicated spot light only Motion detection – my camera picks up aardvarks walking across my lawn on medium setting Lighting – not too bright if being used to light up your yard

This Ring product is an amazing value for what it's capable of. It's motion avtivated, video quality is excellent, and it even allows you to talk to the intruder or automatically warns them that they are being videotaped. The lights are extremely powerful and literally light up the place up like Fort Knoxx. It even activates a very loud siren if you choose that option as an additional deterrent. It is very user friendly and easy to set up. If intruders were to come close to it and knock it down with a stick, it will still record them long before they get close to it and identify them as an object or a person that can be used with the police department to make an arrest. You can also choose that it notifies the police department upon anything that activates it. This is a good feature for when you go away for the weekend. Video playback can be adjusted to zoom in to a particular area or show a very wide angle of coverage. The 240° field of view covers a very large area. I would suggest mounting it in an area that covers the rear and sides of your home (including the garage) where most intruders enter. It can even be mounted to a tree to give you a better angle of all corners of your home if you have power at that location and it is within Wi-Fi distance of your residence. If not, two cameras can be installed and operate in tandom. Overall, it's an incredible value and I plan on buying additional accessories to complete my security system at home and Business. It even has a community feature without disclosing your name that allows you to alert and receive notifications of your neighbors devices. This morning I got a notification that there was an intruder checking out cars in driveways in the immediate area. It has three settings that allow you to disarm it completely during the day and can be easily switched to home or away via your cell phone app for when you forget to arm it or you're inside the home at night time. You can arm it remotely when you are away if you forget to arm it at home. If you have an "indoor camera" in your home you can disarm the motion activation feature so it doesn't pick up every movement when you walk around the house at night while the rest of your system remains on. When you're away, the indoor camera/speaker function also gives you the ability to check on your pets and even talk to them through the speaker intercom built into the unit. Obviously, I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with this purchase. For the money, I highly recommend this product.
