Pignose PG-20 PG-20 a/c powered amplifier

i bought one of these amps about four years ago and this amp works as good now as it did the day that it arrived. it is a great sounding amp used with a squire strat or a harmonica played over a harmonica mic. i liked this amp with a cigar box guitar played through it and i have used this amp with a sony walkman and with a computer to.it has been a very usefull piece of equipment since i bought it several years ago.it is striking how this amp is so powerfull for its size and the volume it has.i bought this amp for harmonica originally but have since used it for several different uses.its tube amp effect helps with harmonica or guitar.this amp is very solidly built and has held up great .i have one of these amps along with a Pignose 7 100 and both of those amps have done very well for me.i have considered buying the ac powered bass combo amp and i have come to apreciate the simplicity and durability of the Pignose amps..

It's sounds good to me but more of a fuzz distortion if you like that.

Bought this mainly to play harmonica through, and it does that very well. Loud and dirty with the Bottle 'O Blues microphone. Volume at 3 is plenty loud. Played my Fender Tele through it and liked the sound but remember this is a basic amp. Superb amp for the price...

Ordered think it will be a nice amp. Got it - damaged. Order a replacement amp. Got it - had a short loud buzzing sound ... Sent it back for refund. Thanks you Amazon for an excellent return policy! Got a Line 6 15W and very happy. I have heard Pignose amps before they were ok. But not this model.

As can be seen from the other reviews not for everyone ... it does have a rather distinct sound. If you're in with the pignose sound it's a fine practice amp ... solidly built, not to heavy lugs everywhere just fine ....

Recommended by my son's guitar teacher, the PG-20 is powerful for a small speaker. The price was reasonable, under $85 and seems to be exactly what we wanted. Have only had it for about a week...

I can't believe a sound that big can come out of an amp this size. The speaker quality is so good. I'm playing it with some epiphone les Paul's and the tube stack distortion is so good. It distorts the bottom end but leaves the top end clear so you can strum a chord in overdrive but still hear each note. Amazing!

Excellent guitar amp for practice !! A great funky blues tone !!! The drive is excellent to use like a booster !!
