I only do 1% of the total volume I'm using

Why is the internet's description different from this one. Is this a truly Paraben Free?

I'm not sure what description you're looking at online, so I can't answer that but, there are different types of Optiphen; there's Optiphen, Optiphen ND, and Optiphen Plus. They are all paraben free.

Does this produit preserve lotion. For a yeas

I do not know how long it will preserve as we only tried it with lotion and used it before the product was six months old. It did a nice job during the time we had it out.

Can this be used for foaming hand soap?

Hi Chantel, I have not used this in foaming hand soaps, but I have used it in a foaming face wash. Therefore, I would say yes you can use it. Optiphen can be used in a large variety of products as a preservative.

Perfect for making lotion!

This product is great! In my business, I make and sell hair products. I use this as a preservative for my leave in conditioners and styling cremes. Of course my ingredients include water so this is why the preservative is needed. This preservative extends the shelf life of my products for 1yr! My products do not need a 1yr shelf life extension, because they are hair products and can be used daily/weekly. But this product gives me the reassurance that I need knowing my products can maintain a long shelf life!
