Purchased this battery for my handycam and it’s a beefy battery lasts very long, fits perfectly, and gives you the battery life info on it.

Holds charge for a long time. Great price too!
I bought one of these about three years ago. I frequently used my camcorder (Sony DCRTRV 350) back then and never had a problem with this back then. More recently, I had my camcorder in storage for over a year. When I checked the battery the other day, it was still about 80% charged. After more than a year in storage. Charged it up to bring to full charge, and used a little over 2 hours of use for some family videos, and still had more than 1/3rd charge.

VERY long runtime
Lasts forever pretty much, I was able to record a full length tape on one charge, and still had enough battery left to record intermittently for the next month.

My bad, I waited too long to try to charge ...
Battery would not charge!! My bad, I waited too long to try to charge it and past the return window, but when I put the battery on the camera and tried to charge it, unfortunately for a wedding that weekend,it would not work. Left it on for 24 hours, and it showed no charge. Very unhappy with the battery and the purchase!!! Next time, will buy the name brand!!! But again, my fault for not trying it sooner!!! Update: Melasta contacted me and replaced the battery. New battery works great, and the customer service was excellent!!

The batteries work and they seem to hold their charge ...
The batteries work and they seem to hold their charge for a decent amount of time. However, I am using them with a Preston hand unit, and once the battery reaches about 50% it reads zero on the hand unit. I left it on to see how long it would last, and it continued to power the hand unit for another 3 hours, but the readout on the hand unit says otherwise.

Will not work for TRV-138. “Use Infolithium battery pack” this error message keeps coming up after a few seconds and the camcorder shuts off.
