Storelli ExoShield Head Guard, Military-Grade Head Protection, Foam Padded Headband

Used as a head guard for my son during curling practice. The expandable band thanks to Velcro closure is appreciated since it actually fits his head - we had difficulty with other bands due to his head circumference. Not too bulky and fits nicely under a hat for on ice practice. Holds up well to sweat and cleaning.

Best head band for players. Helps on headers, collisions, and falls. Increased confidence! Have bought 2 so far.

My 12 yr old daughter is a figure skater and has hit her head several times hard on the ice, once having to go to the ER because she briefly lost consciousness. As a mother, and as a healthcare provide myself, this stressed me out. I researched head protection products for figure skaters for hours before finally selecting this product. She has used it for a month now and she likes the way it feels and looks. It is perfectly snug and really looks like a workout headband. I have only seen her hit her head once while wearing it but of course this particularly fall wasn't as hard as the previous ones because her body hit the ice before her head did but the headband did offer protection and she jumped right back up. It offers protection more for the temple and nape of the head and doesn't really seem to offer protection of the crown of her head.

Works pretty well, I use it in judo when playing big guys to avoid getting a lump from banging heads. All headgear looks a bit goofy to some peers, but I don’t like ganglean cyst lumps or concussions so I will wear it. The size 6 fit my fairly large skull well.

This has a padding over the full 360 degrees circumference. Fit is very tight when she first put it on (uncomfortable), but loosens with wear to be almost too big. It doesn't stay in place, and constantly needed readjustment during game. This was definitely a distraction for my daughter.

After our daughter’s second concussion in two years we bought this k e and another from a local store. The one from the local store sat too low on her head, and pushed on her ears. This one was a winner! She worn it for the last few games of the season and says she’ll continue.

Gross. Obviously used, even with a blade of grass. Sad. Needed this for my kid’s protection for a tournament . This was my 2nd time ordering. First one was great.

Malheureusement malgré ma prise de mesures soignée, la grandeur 6 est trop serrée. Le retour s’avère difficile. Les voies habituelles ne fonctionnent pas, on doit contacter le vendeur, avec comme seul choix un retour par ups dont le dépôt est à 120km de chez-moi. De plus j’attends encore le remboursement depuis 3 semaines.

Did not fit at all could have been the packaging as the headpiece came flat and hard to adjust and form to the youths head

Bought the largest one they make, a #6. It was VERY tight fit. Going to try stretching it. As it is it's way too small unless you're looking for a headache in under 5 minutes.
