Honestly the application is kinda nerve racking for a first timer, but it’s basically dummy proof it was easy to apply, and as you apply you can really take in the quality in the product, it leaves the windows shining like new, and the effectiveness is really night and day water just beads off with ease and I totally recommend a 12 month reapplication even thought the durability is insane without care but if you care for it it’ll probably last 24 months

Applied to glass, not windscreen PPF. It does take a little effort to polish the substrate with the provided media (FYI this cannot be done from couch). Total application time was about 1.5 hrs to clean, polish, and apply two coats. Hydrophobicity is better than Rain-X. Slickness may be a little less than a fresh coat of Rain-X, but I don’t mind using the wipers. Have not encountered wiper chatter with this product. Seems to take the punishment of time (6 months thus far), outside storage (rain, UV exposure, temps from 40 F to 90 F have been experienced), abrasion from wiper blades, and 4 car washes. Wow, adding a note to self that I need to wash the car more often. Update 2/6/2024: Coating performance has fallen off after 36k and 9 months. Need to re-apply coating after first applying in April-2023, which included one summer and most of one cold season.

While I purchased this and winter was wintering hard. I found workarounds and hacks to make the product cure in under 50⁰ weather. EVO has been flawless. Therain just beads up and just rolls off the windshield. Visibility has also improved in rainy weather. The people who have issues more than likely didn't follow the instructions to a T. It is really important that you do.

This is my 2nd review… I only got an email regarding my issue after submitting my 1 star review. Now they stopped responding to my emails. Horrible customer service. Product is hit and miss. You need to be cautious because instructions say you need to use the entire product on just the windshield, and driver/passenger windows. Which seems like a lot compared to other products. I feel like I installed 1-2 of my layers a little too thick, trying to speed up the process. Seems like you have enough to put 2 layers on your entire car. But maybe I read the instructions wrong. After talking to them through email I was told all my steps I did for prepping and installing were accurate and they had no problem with how I did it and the products I used. I was told to do a light polishing. After doing that, the windshield was spotty. But now I dont have enough product to fix it. Now they stopped responding to my emails when I asked for addition advice. They wont accept returns or give refunds. I purchased this to have a water repellent windshield. Not a patchy semi repellant windshield.

This coating does work - but only if you have some experience with coating application. Even if you follow the instruction steps perfectly, there is still a need for the slight of hand that only comes from experience. If you decide to try it, be mindful in timing the buff off perfectly. If you wait too long, it will be ruined. If you buff too early, it will be ruined. If you get it right, then this is one of the best window coatings on the market. Edit: I put a single application of this coating on one of my vehicles 3 years ago when I first wrote this review, and I have not applied anything to the glass ever since. The glass still has the coating present after 3 years, it has degraded partially over time, but the fact that it's still there is very impressive for a consumer product. Just keep in mind that the installation requires professional level application, don't even try it if you aren't experienced because you are almost guaranteed to screw it up; just look at all the negative reviews for this product and you will see what I mean

Easy to use, very very effective at beading the rain on the windscreen and actually makes the screen appear clearer to me. Id really suggest following the instructions to get the grime off of the glass for best results and you will have a brilliantly shiny windscreen for months, even after multiple washes.

1 Month in and 4 torrential rain storms and its still beading water like i just applied it. (I applied two coats of the coating over all exterior glass afyer i polished it). Only time will tell for how long it will last. Even if you only have to reapply after 6 months it'd still be worth it just for the longevity.
