I had been looking some time for a connector for a hose for my tap. The horizontal measurements were right but when the connector arrived, I realised that I did not allow for my tap's very shallow spout which is 1/4" in depth. I was going to throw the connector away but my daughter decided to give it a try. Miraculously, the 1/4" was enough to give it purchase. In fact, if I kept the water pressure at half strength, it does not leak at all. I've been using this for a couple of months now - putting it on and taking it off daily as I need the tap for other purposes - and everything continues to work fine. If only I could give this six stars.
