This is a really useful set of metric tools in small sizes. If you need them, very valuable indeed

I bought this selection of tiny metric taps and the larger metric taps from the same supplier. I haven't tried them out yet but they seem well made and OK for my traveling tool kit. Problem is that they are packed loose in a small poly bag and they can rub and bang against each other in the soft bubble shipping pouch. Not good for hardened cutting edges. The smallest 1MM tap arrived broken but a replacement set was sent out right away and I returned the original set. A small piece of folded cardboard would have protected them better but I can't complain at this price point.

Ok taps. Not the best materials used but should be fine working on brass. I don’t plan to use these on harder materials since they’re will probably snap. The stamping on these are hard to ready luckily part even on the larger ones. I did put them in a labeled storage bin to make things easier on me. They’re designed for jewelry repair so I’m hoping that they do a good job on brass material. Threads are sharpened nicely and the end of it fits well on a wrench or ratchet wrench without play.

I bought this out of necessity, and they did what I needed. I don't use them often enough to give them a proper rating, but I feel that they are a good product for the money. I recommend them.

Taps are fine but the packaging could have been better.

Well, my first order arrived with one tap broken. So amazon replaced it quickly. These are very small and require special handling. I got them more for chasing threads than making threads. Should work just fine.

This set did what I needed and that's all I can say. Idk if they are for metal or not but I used them for 3/8in brass and it was fine. I went extra slow to make sure but they seem high quality to me.

I fix watches and need to recut small threads

So far I have tapped 304 Stainless Steel and Aluminum. I didn't expect much for the price but even if I get 10 holes per tap I'll be impressed. But I think I will get more, with proper tapping oil and correct use of the taps there should never be a problem.

I have had no luck using these. They are the correct sizes but the bits are too small and I don't have a machine or tool that I can insert them into. When I have, they don't grip or do anything. One of them broke off as well.
