This book has great projects that can be done spur of the moment or with little supplies to be purchased. A great combination for science lessons. I also greatly appreciated the explanation of what was taking place broken down so that my son could understand the science behind the experiment. I am thrilled with this purchase. This book is all around fabulous!

Fun range of projects
I originally checked this book out from the library for my 8 year old, and then had to go ahead and buy it for her after renewing it twice because she did not want to return it. It has lots of fun projects for kids and great pictures showing how to complete them, along with some child-accessible science about what is happening. There's also at least a few you will most likely have supplies on hand to do, so not everything has to be a run to the store just to try out one or two projects. Overall a really fun book for the budding scientist and curious child.

Highly recommend!
I bought this as a gift for my six year old nephew and he LOVED it! Seriously he carried this look around and looked in it all the time. We did almost every activity. Such a fun gift for an inquisitive kiddo.

Great book. Must have for kids 7-12
Lots of fun things to make! Only flop was rock sugar candy sticks. Did not work as directions said. Overall great book for 7-12 year olds.

A BEAUTIFUL and easy DIY book with COLORFUL DETAILS that will keep your and the children's attention and explorations going...
Love the overall and the details of this book, Maker Lab by Jack Challoner, inside out. Filled with clear, colourful photos and written instructions for each of the fun, easy diy experiments of easily accessible household and recyclable objects. Explanation of each why, when, how...facts for each experiment is a big bonus for the children. This Maker Lab book is beautifully done with lots of details and is strongly recommended from me, as a K-5+STEAM teacher, with an affordable price.

Excellent and fun rescource
Everything is clearly detailed. Easy formate for a child to pick up and follow through with. It’s not intimidating to them. More so, unlike some resources online, this truly explains the science behind the experiment in a simple, easy to understand manner for kids (and adults). I love this book.

BEST Science Resource Available!
What an amazing book! I KNOW this will be the favorite book in our classroom! Not only are the materials for all of the activities easy to get (many you already have at home) but the step by step directions are clear and easy to follow. The ADDED bonus is the explanation given in scientific language using kid-friendly diagrams. I sat today and added each activity to my year-long science planning for my 2nd and 3rd graders and know my little scientists are going to love these!

Great Kids Gift
Super fun experiments!! We got this for my nephew for his 5th birthday and put all the supplies needed for a few of these in baggy's and gave him a whole boxed kit! He obviously needed help with the experiments by an adult, but he was super enthusiastic about it and enjoyed the experiments!! It's like hands on learning too which is great for a kid this age!
