Works great for smart TV and soundbar setup.
I am not an AV enthusiast or a musician. I just really missed going to noraebangs (private karaoke rooms). I have an LG tv and an LG soundbar with only digital inputs and outputs. I would read different reviews of other mixers and speaker setups. People seem to have an issue between the digital signal of modern tvs and soundbars and the analog signals of microphones. I was considering buying separate analog speakers or converters for digital signals. None of that was neccesary with this mixer! HDMI arc from TV to mixer, TOS from mixer to soundbar. It works great! For your living room I think this is a perfect setup. I dont have to unplug anything, reconfigure settings, or physically move stuff around. I leave the mixer plugged in and it does not interfere with anything! I watch TV when I watch TV. When I want to do karaoke, I cast youtube from my phone and turn on the microphones. Thats all I have to do. The microphones are plastic and you do have to sing "into" them to pick up your voice. So long as you dont drop them, I think they should be fine. For the money and for singing drunkenly with friends in my living room, they are more than fine. They instantly pair up to the mixer, no issues there. I know that having higher quality microphones, a better mixer with FX, and PA speakers would produce a better sound. For $120 though, I use my existing audio setup, dont have to manipulate anything, just put the microphones in a drawer and my phone back in my pocket when i am done. There is no detectable audio delays with the microphones. For the money and ease of setup, this is a 5 star item. If you have a smart TV, a soundbar, and a desire to sing with friends, I highly recommend this item.

Great value for the money
Sound quality is beyond my expectations. Wireless microphone is working good from the distance without breaking. Reverb quality is almost similar to the one that average karaoke studios have. It is fun to sing songs with it. Optical, HDMI, and Audio Jack are option for output. And HDMI and audio jack for input. You can take it to any places due to its small size with a sturdy metal boxing. Couple of things I want it to have are 1. rechargeable battery for the microphone. You need two AA size batteries to operate one mic but they donโt last that long. I wish I could charge the microphone while the device is not in use. 2. a travel case for storing the device and microphones Other than that I am satisfied with the product. I donโt need to go Karaoke studio to sing! Or I can practice at home to sing my favorite songs more confidently at studio before my friends. Thing is my whole family spend more time together. Also I am very happy to see my teenager daughters enjoy their time with singing. Better than looking at their phones all the time.

UHF Wireless Microphone Mixer (HDMI-Optical Connection)
Been looking around the market for something that is simple and easy to hook up the Smart TV and the Yamaha 5.1 Sound simple using a single HDMI (eARC) & Optical Sound. Found what I was looking for and hooking it up took me less than ten minutes. To start off, it did took me a while to figure out how to hook it up to the Yamaha because there were not instructions about connecting it to an amplifier, but after everything was hooked up and no sound came through...I was a bit concerned. However, after going through the setting on the Smart TV and setting it to PCM, I heard sounds coming through and tested everything out. It is basically "Plug 'N' Play" sort of deal. Should have taken me less that five minutes to get everything working properly. As for the wireless microphone, the main body are constructed of matte plastic and the metal mesh over the main microphone is a big plus. After throwing in some Duracell for added weight, it really does have a nice feel in the hands. Also, turning them microphone on simply connected to the mixer right away with just an adjustment of channels and you're set to sing. For the price, this cannot be beat, the sound that came through the speakers were clear for me, "subjective opinion," but I'll play around with it some more to keep the echoing at a minimal. Overall, this is one of the easiest setups that I've every got a chance to fiddle with, and I'm a pretty technical person.

Useless product
I searched for a long time and thought this one would be suitable, but it does not work as described. According to the manual, it cannot connect to the projector and Apple TV. It only connects to the projector and the sound bar, and the sound is very low and the sound quality is poor. I am going to return the goods and continue to look for a suitable one.

Arc and optical didnt work correctly
The Arc is an Audio Return for when you have a receiver or sound bar. This did not work for me so I tried the optical this as well did not work either. So I tried the RCA Jack this worked but sounded terrible. So I then went from HDMI out from my laptop into the Karaoke machine then to the Receiver this works and sounds great!

Best setup for the money
Researched quite a bit and found that this setup was the most compatible with the existing LG TV and LG soundbar that I already have. Setting up the Mixer to work with everything else wasn't very straightforward, but I finally landed on the solution that balances audio quality (little to no delay) with aesthetics and ease of switching to and from karaoke to normal TV or streaming. I imagine similar set up can work for other branded TVs and Soundbars, but here are two potential methods for setting up that I settled upon after a fair bit of trial and error: 1. (Recommended) a. Google Chromecast -> LG TV (HDMI non-ARC input), b. Mixer (HDMI ARC output) -> LG TV (HDMI ARC input), c. Mixer (Optical out) -> LG Soundbar (Optical in). While there was little to no delay in the mic input and music, this set up meant that I could no longer use my LG WOWCAST, which would otherwise connect by LG TV with LG Soundbar without the need for an HDMI or optical cable. Also, now if the Mixer is off, my normal TV sound output comes out through TV internal speakers; and therefore, if I want to use the Soundbar, the Mixer must be on with TV audio passing through the Mixer to the Soundbar. 2. (Not recommended because of an annoying half second delay in audio from the mics): a. Google Chromecast -> Mixer (HDMI input), b. Mixer (HDMI ARC output) -> LG TV (HDMI non-ARC input), c. LG TV (HDMI ARC input) -> LG WOWCAST -> LG Soundbar (wirelessly using WOWCAST). While this meant that I only had one HDMI cable going from the Mixer to the TV, and no audio cables going to the Soundbar, it also had a significant audio delay that I could not seem to resolve via any settings or adjustments to my setup.

Works as designed, but was my TV kept complaining
I got this for our home, we tested it out and it works, however our TV kept on complaining about using the ARC for our soundbar. For our setup, it is probably better to have a 2 optical setup and not HDMI to stop the error from occurring.

Died 1 year and a couple months.
Dead right about the 1 year mark. Should have returned, because it had issues from day one with the signal cutting out briefly from time to time. Now it is passing the ARC, but not the video. Tried other sources, but nada.
