Really nice tool stand (4.5 but worthy of rounding up to 5)
I got my WEN tool stand today and I really love it. Let's talk assembly: It was fairly easy to assemble, but some of the bolts needed a small love tap with my hammer in order to get them in place. Instructions are pretty good. I made the mistake of initially trying to attach the legs on the inside of the corners, but after some blood and tears I noticed that the picture had them attached on the outside of the corner. (I want to take off half a point, but I can't with how much I love the assembled product). Once assembled it is nice and stable and easy to move. Next, let's talk about attaching tools and stability/maneuverability: First I gotta get this said and over with, sorry WEN, I very much love my DEWALT and Kobalt tools (but I may add some WEN tools now). Ok, with that said, I bought this stand for my 12" Kobalt Miter Saw. I'm getting back into woodworking but I have to delay the refit of my garage due to family health situation. After ordering the stand I got a little worried that my saw was going to be too big but it fits well. The edges do overhang a bit, but that is perfectly ok by me. I did have to drill some new bolt holes in order to attach the saw to the top, but that as easy to do. As toward stability/maneuverability, I love it. I was worried with the front having that one wheel in the middle that it would tip when turning, but it doesn't do that. It is really stable and easy to move. The only thing I wish was that it was an inch higher. It feels low, but I might be ok with that. I'm disabled and sometimes need to sit while working so having this being a bit low might work for me. Overall I highly recommend this stand to others. I'm planning on buying another one for my Rikon (sorry WEN) bandsaw and planer.

Sturdy, perfect for my DeWalt planer.
Sturdy stand, pretty easy to assemble. Perfect for my DeWalt planer. I especially like the ability to move the stand and planer around as need, sometimes I run very long boards through the planer and need a little extra space. The only caveat I have is with the provided bolts and/or nuts. I have a tendency to make sure all of my bolts and nuts are tight, been tightening things like this for years, however, for a couple of these, it seemed as if they may have stripped out or came very close to stripping out. That tells me that they are very soft and that seems odd considering how sturdy the stand itself is formed from. The extension rollers are nice too, but in my case, the DeWalt planer has extension tables attached to the planer and the extension rollers provided on the stand don't actually provide enough additional support to be useful. I will be adding separate extension rollers for longer work. Overall, it's a nice stand and if you have a planer, it is easily sturdy enough to support it.

Overall decent but I have a couple of notes that lower the stars.
The good: Love the holes for bolting equipment down Fairly easy to build. Instructions have intelligent order of operation for assembly and should be followed. (Pictures mean I didn’t read) Study enough enough for 90lb dewalt planer. The rollers work but have a single knob so they won’t be perfectly level (risk of snipe on planer). The bad No extra hardware so I always ding a minimum half star, but also no hardware shortage and they did include hardware for attaching tools so, kudos! The wheels are meant for flat smooth surfaces. My garage is 124 years only and the cement is not flat and the previous home owner had carpet and puzzle soft flooring. With about 140lbs or so of weight, the cart is worthless if I want to wheel it. I built a caster base. Which fixed problem two: The cart is a bit short for my planer and me. I’m 6’3” and like things taller to start but I think it might be short for most. The shelf is too low for me. With the spacing and the fact I’m mobile, I’ll probably never use, but it adds strength to the structure. No locktight on nuts so they may become loose over time. Plan accordingly. Overall I think it was good value and while it’s definitely not perfect, I think it is great value.

Assemble with legs on the OUTSIDE!
First thing you need to known about this - the legs go on the OUTSIDE! Doing this alone makes assembly SIMPLE - All the holes line up PERFECTLY. Pay no attention to negative assembly reviews - those guys did the legs wrong and undoubtedly made the assembly process horrible. This thing went together quickly and easily. It's plenty sturdy for the 90 pound planer. I'm super happy with it. You won't regret getting one as long as you assemble it correctly. 😎

Great table
This table is great. Mine came without the shelf. I contacted Wen and they immediately sent the replacement part with no issue. I use this all the time. It's sturdy and stable.

Great stand, easy assembly
This is a really solid and well built stand. It comes with really good directions for assembly (more on this later). You will need a 13 mm socket or wrench for all of the bolts except for 2 screws. For screws you need a #2 phillips screwdriver. It took me a leisurely hour to assemble. Here is a warning. If you are like me, you go to YouTube to find assembly videos. I could only find one video and he assembles it wrong. Rely instead upon the well formed instruction manual. Here a tip -- the legs mount OUTSIDE the base and top -- not inside.

These are pretty good, solid construction. I bought one for my planer and liked it a lot. My RIDGID planer fits on it pretty well but not all the holes will align. I used a couple of smaller bolts to fit through the smaller holes on my planer to ensure that it was secure. The front wheel swivels and the two rear are fixed so while they are not super maneuverable it’s possible to position them where you need them. I then bought a second one for my mitre saw because I liked the extendable work support arms. These were not too hard to assemble and all the pieces were there and it was well packaged. They are heavy.

very good stand, well made and easy to assemble. the extendable rollers work well to support longer workpieces. I was using this with the dewalt 735 with no issues, I've since returned that planer and intend to use this with the rikon planer **EDIT*** dont pay the ridiculous price of over $300 on amazon canada. this stand retails for $150usd at home depot, and should usually be found for around $250 on amazon canada. the current $450+ asking price is ridiculous.

Nice stand. Assembles easily. Functional and easy to move. Would have been even better if it had thicker gauge top and 4 wheels instead of 3 and slightly lower price. Otherwise, I recommend this stand.

Works great. Only 1 issue with the threads on a locking knob. Was not able to thread it into the nut for the bed extension. Contacted Wen & they had a new knob sent to me in a reasonable period of time that fit perfect. As for the stand, it hold my Dewalt 13" planer very well and the mobility system is great.
