Very good shoe - buy a half-size up for perfect fit
Early goings but so far very comfortable, sturdy with good power transfer, and the combination of one Velcro buckle and BOA laces is spot on for fine turning the fit. I bought a half-size up and the shoes are perfect.

Great Shoe, Wear Long Socks
They're good shoes, although they're a tad flimsy feeling. Not a big deal, they're comfortable and fit my American size well. The sole is stiff enough if you like to leave the saddle while climbing. I'm using standard Shimano 2 bolt, but a 3 bolt road could also easily fit. You could get a speedplay on here, but with the riser needed, I wager it wouldn't be comfortable, like the sole needs to be wider at the ball of the foot. Anyway, I like it. These are replacing my Fizik pair I seem to have lost. I actually prefer these tbh. Just wear long songs, the shoe rubs on the ankle a bit, and is annoying on long rides.

BOA laces are everything
Particularly for those of us with the Flintstone feet. These BOA laces are going to be a total game changer for ppl with wide, square, otherwise irregular feet. For reference, my feet are wide (E-EE) with essentially no arch. I cannot wear Nike anything. I range from a US men's 9.5-10.5 depending on the manufacturer, style of shoe, and purpose. For running, I wear Hokas in a 10.5 and decided that I would size similarly for my first pair of cycle shoes. After a disaster ordering the absolute trash Peloton Altos shoes (read the reviews, they straight up fall apart) I began researching good shoes for wide feet and settled on the Giros with the BOA. I have owned several Giro helmets and know them to be a quality brand. These shoes have not disappointed. Although I can't yet review longevity, I can tell you that after several hard rides they show no sign of degradation. I am, so far, riding indoor exclusively with Delta clips on a Peloton. The real standouts are the BOA and the carbon sole. The BOA system is, frankly, pure genius. It looks super cheap and gimmicky, then you put them on and tighten up... Never has my foot felt so precisely secured within footwear. These could work for narrow OR wide feet equally well. Each little click snugs the shoe in micro adjustments which are perfectly uniform across my foot. This allows more leeway when sizing up for wide feet/swelling. You'd think perhaps the wire could become problematic, possibly creating pressure or digging in somewhere along its track. Nope. These are simply the most comfortable piece of exercise gear I've ever purchased. Cannot wait to see this tech transferred to other stuff. K2 already has a ski boot out 🥹 BOA really could change the game for those of us with funky feet.

seller made mistake
This is a great shoe. With good fit. Seller made a mistake and they send me used worn shoes that were smelly, and scratched.

Amazing Spin Shoes!!
I originally bought these cycling shoes because I thought they were sleek and I liked the idea of the BOA. I could not have been more impressed with the quality, comfort, and style of these shoes. They're quick and easy to slip on before class, they have great support, and I just can't imagine wearing anything else to cycle in! Definitely a great shoe for the price! I will definitely be buying another pair when these wear out - if they ever do!

Excellent shoe for the price
Excellent cycling shoe for the average rider. Great dollar value. Shoe size very close to quoted size. Highly recommend

Easy to use, quality shoes.
Great shoes for spinning on my current bike setup indoors. Adjusts easily and fits well. Easy to put on and tighten and also remove. Use them 3-4 times a week and have had no issues, good durability so far.

Well-Made Shoes, But Too Narrow for Wide Feet
The Giro Cadet Cycling Shoes are well-constructed, lightweight, and look great. The materials feel high-quality, and the BOA closure system allows for a snug, adjustable fit. They provide good power transfer and are comfortable—if they fit your feet properly. Unfortunately, they were too narrow for my wide feet. Even after trying to break them in, they still felt tight and uncomfortable on longer rides. If you have standard or narrow feet, these could be a great choice, but for those with wider feet, they may not be the best option. I had to return them, but if Giro offered a wider version, I’d definitely give them another try!
