2013 Sonic 1.8 gasI took a chance on this plastic one, sometimes I like to roll the dice. It worked absolutely perfectly. Fit was exact. No leaks, sensors were pre-installed, it came with all the gasket rings. Heavy gauge plastic โ not cheap plastic. I put this on my daughters car and it has been great. Code cleared, and dash light stayed off.

Broke after 6 months
I got this to replace my old housing whose thermostat stopped working. This worked fine for 6 months, but a few days ago I noticed that coolant was leaking profusely. I just took it apart and discovered that this has already broken, and it has only been in place for 6 months. Horrible quality, and I would not recommend.

This part from GM is over 125 dollars. This worked great cured my no heat issue As the thermostat on my car was stuck closed not allowing flow to heater core
