Compression Running Ankle Socks for Men and Women (6 Pairs), Quarter Athletic Socks for Running, Cycling, Golf, Work

I’m not sure effective they are for compression purposes but they’re nice socks! I like that they’re tighter, they feel like mild compression. I’ve had them for 4-5 months and pretty durable. Good value.

I read several of the reviews before purchasing the 6 pair package. Some 1 star reviews complain about too much compression, others not enough. I have been wearing calf compression sleeves for 2+ years and have used 20-30 mm Hg for exercise activities and 15-20 mm Hg for everyday activities. I have come to the realization that unless I am hiking all day, biking for 5 plus hours or running a marathon (0% chance of that) the 15-20 mm Hg is sufficient to keep me from having calf cramping issues at night. The main feature in compression (at least I think based on using myself as test subject of n=1) is uniformity of compression around the body part being compressed. These socks have a uniform snugness around the foot, the arch and the heel pad. I would not say it is even in the 15-20 mm Hg range, the snugness feels less compressive than that. I obtained these socks and wore one pair on a 16 mile bike ride on a 88-90°F day. I came back sweating and while the inside of my shoes were damp my socks and feet were dry. I couldn't help but notice because I did not believe the socks could wick moisture that effectively. On another day I wore another pair of these socks on 5 mile walk in hot weather. The socks seemed to me to fit tightly enough that they were part of my foot and not a third element between shoe, sock and foot. That was quite comfortable. I waited until I had worn 3 pairs of these socks and then washed all six pairs because i wanted to see how the socks I had worn washed compared to the ones I had not. I turned the socks inside out as I do for all of my compression gear to make sure the part that touches my skin is clean. I have posted picture of 2 pair of the worn and washed socks. Other than some wrinkles they fit as well as the socks did when new. Obviously one washing doesn't tell how these will last over 50 or more washings, but using warm water and low heat to dry they seem to have held up well. These are definitely the socks I will wear for all my exercise activities and for air travel as well.

For reference my shoe size is a Women's US10 and Men’s US8 and I ordered the S-M size… The toe seam(?) is slightly too long so that you can annoyingly feel it by your pinky toe or big toe depending on how you adjust it (I do not have narrow or wide feet). The heel part lines up perfectly, but all I can think about is someone having slightly smaller feet and having the socks not fit correctly! Other than the seam by the toes, these feel really nice and don’t have a terrible workshop smell like some other clothes I order online do. :')

I am utterly impressed! For the price point, and how many pairs of socks you get these are excellent. I used each pair several times now as well as washing them multiple times and they've held up great. *I do not dry them. Super lightweight, thin, breathable, and most important, comfortable! They look simple and stylish for runs. I will be buying more in the future.

These are great! I just have some information for people who are interested in these but may have doubts because of the reviews. Yes, these are thin, however it’s a good thing if you are using them for exercise. It makes them more breathable and faster drying. They are also full synthetic, making them perfect for moisture wicking and avoiding cold wet feet, like you may experience with cotton socks. Overall highly recommend these for performance exercise.

These socks arrive in a white box with the socks lined up inside. The socks are a decent material and are comfortable, but they are definitely not compression socks. Since they are advertised as compression socks, they lost 2 stars. If they were listed as regular socks they would be 5 stars. They are a bit thin too.

Best running socks ever, super comfortable, they last a lot, simple black style that goes with everything, I use them to run 5 days a week from 7 to 10k, they don't shrink, easy to wash

These socks are the best socks I have worn for walking. They provide excellent support but allow for airflow. The fit is so good you're never going to have to pull them up nor worry about getting blisters. Fantastic socks!
