No side effects if used correctly
Just put in flouting holder lasted 6 day's, in pool, very very slight aroma. Grandchildren no effects ,skin, eyes perfectly fine, in the pool for at least an hour.

Slow release tablets
Large size tablets, fits easily in floating dispenser. They are slow release so last a while. Pool is clear and chlorine is spot on using these. Using one a week for a 10ft pool.

Not for me
I put this in my pool 3 days ago and its still a solid block on the bottom. It's such a slow dissolve that it does not dissolve.Since using this I have had lavae starting to build up.Have had to by a finer granules to get the level back to normal
