I found nothing on the site prior to purchasing that stated this item's electrics to be UK compliant, not Australian compliant. Disappointing when my gift (also including the matching kettle) was opened on Christmas day. I have previously bought electrical goods made in the UK but they have been made to suit Australian compliance requirements. This should be made clear under the product description.
