Works well and looks good.
Grinder is a nice design and has a measuring cup built into it. I've seen some reviews that say the measuring cup comes off too easy. Mine screws on and I've had no problems with it.The grinder works well and is easy to fill. I would recommend this to friends if I had any.

A good mill
Grinds very nicely and smoothly. Only complaints are that it's a little big and that it's hard to sprinkle the pepper I grind from it onto a dish (there's an opening on the side, and it pours out very quickly). Otherwise, so far is very durable and a well-constructed product.

for something on the fly fine
This is not really the best grinder to have for long term use and if you cook alot. After about a month or two of use it does not grind up the peppercorns as well as it did when it was first used. And I think it has to do with the fact that the part which is grinding is made of plastic And well all knew what happens to plastic. So if you are looking for something with a longer span go with some thing with a metal grinder not plastic.

only course! grinder isn't good.
Only good for course sea salt. Can't grind anything small than course and nothing hard. Bought thinking it would work for my flaxseed, the seeds fell right through for the most part. Loved the hole measuring concept though.

Started Out OK, but Less Now
Fine is not very fine, and you need to set the grinder flat on the counter when grinding, unless you're holding it over the food, because otherwise the pepper will fly out the slot. But it's easy to use, the measuring feature is great. I give up on finding a fine grind, though, and bought some ground pepper for cooking. UPDATE: I've only used this four or five times and the setting no longer works. Everything comes out coarse.

grinds bigger coarse peppers
If you are looking for a pepper mill that grinds and produces bigger coarse pieces (and not so fine) this does a way better than the OXO Good Grips Pepper Mill. I was debating whether to buy this one or the OXO Good Grips Pepper Mill as the prices were similar. So I bought both of them to test them out and my husband and I both agree this is the better if you're looking to grind coarser fresh peppers. We also like this as it's more stylish, feels heavy like a better quality product vs. plastic. The setting can be set so finer peppers are produced but we prefer the bigger crunchy taste and feel.

What a good idea!
This is a great tool plus it keeps the counters free of pepper dust. If you need to measure out the pepper, the measuring feature is very handy. Plus filling the mill is so easy; no peppercorns flying around.

Very good
Pros: Love the grind selector on the top. It's so easy to adjust. Very, very easy to grind. I get a good amount of pepper with each grind. The attached cup was what I was looking for. It's so nice to grind into a cup when measuring for recipes. This was the reason I bought it. Cons: A little on the klunky side. It's a little thick so doesn't fit in the hand comfortably The measuring cup has a hole for pouring that just allows the pepper to fall out if you're not careful. I put a piece of tape over the pouring hole and just unscrew the base when I want to pour. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I've been looking for the perfect pepper mill for years that has an attached cup and this is the best one, in fact the only one I've found so far that doesn't cost a fortune.
