Risk is the perfect game if you’ve ever looked at Monopoly and thought, this needs more global domination and backstabbing. The rules feel like they were written by a UN committee, but once you get the hang of it, it’s surprisingly smooth until your cousin suddenly invades Kamchatka and declares war over the dinner table. Gameplay is tense, alliances are fragile, and if you don’t like arguing with friends and family, well, too bad, you’re going to anyway. Bonus, it doubles as a personality test. You’ll quickly find out who’s a strategic genius, who’s passive aggressive, and who’s just out for blood. Highly recommend if you love laughter, betrayal, and at least one person storming off muttering, I’m never playing this again. Would invade again.

This was a great game, the entire family enjoyed it no missing pieces. The directions were very clear so the game was very easy to pick up, and the game could hold some educational value. Overall great game for everyone, only complaint is that the game was harder for kids under 12 to pick up.

Great game, but many errors can be made if you lose focus. Arrived in great condition except for 1 melted soldier.

A very fun game if you love strategy types. Does take a while to play, but still very fun.

This is the one that a lot of kids played with Dad. I know I did - my dad showed me the ropes and I fell in love with the game. Now, 35 years later, I shared it with my own son. So yeah, the pieces are cool and everything is high quality, but the real value was spending time with my son.

J’ai joué à Risk quand j’étais plus jeune, dans son ancienne version, et retrouver ce jeu aujourd’hui est un vrai plaisir. La nouvelle version est très sympathique et apporte un vrai renouveau tout en conservant l’esprit du jeu original. Les nouveaux modèles d’unités sont plus modernes et agréables visuellement, et le plateau a vraiment bien évolué. Il est plus lisible, mieux conçu et rend les parties encore plus immersives. Le jeu reste stratégique, prenant et très convivial. Un excellent jeu de conquête qui traverse les générations et qui fonctionne aussi bien pour les anciens joueurs que pour les nouveaux.

Ordered the game and received a French version despite no mention of this in description. Created a return, asked for an English version. Received another French version. I now see they have changed the title to include (French) on it, but yet again I will have to go to the bother of returning.
