PVC Bulkhead Fitting Double Threaded Bulkhead, 4 Pieces

Got these to link up several water barrels. It is tricky to get the fitting installed unless you have a water barrel whose top completely comes off. I did not, but go check out YouTube where you will find some great tutorials on how to make it work anyways. These did the trick and I am very happy with them.

When I first got these bulkheads, that I ordered for a 1/2 inch PVC pipe, I thought I’d ordered the wrong size because the 1/2 inch PVC pipe I had did not fit. After looking close, I realized that the pipe “almost” fit. So I tried filing off just a little on the end of the pipe and tried to get it to go into the bulkhead that way. Want working. So I tried tapping it in with a hammer. I broke 3 off the bulkheads taping it with a hammer. Knowing that it was close to fitting, I tried a heart gun, hearing the bulkhead up and then tapping it in with the hammer. That worked. Just keep this in mind when you buy this product. Going that worked well.

Found these as the best replacement for my drain plug in my pond prowler boat. The one that came with my boat broke. Installed this and it works perfectly without any leaks. I’m sure it works great for what it was designed for but if you need it for your boat, it’s a perfect fit.

‘Double threaded’ to anyone who typically used these bulkheads means that it accepts adaptors screwed into both sides of it. These are faux double threaded; 1/2” inside and 3/4” outside. They only accept adaptors screwed into one side.

This product worked well for my rain barrels. The price was great as well. I used this for the overflow.

I read the reveiws, I don't agree with most of them. I tested them for Fit and finish, and passed with flying colors! All the parts were there, well packaged, PVC threads are accurate inside and out. I realize these are made in the PRC, I find these are pretty well made units.... and people, these are made out of plastic! you don't have to crank tite these fittings. no leaks upon install.....They will break/strip if you over tighten.

Works great on plastic containers but not so much on wood. I tried to use it on a plywood board and it doesn't fit. The threads don't come all the way to the end leaving it too short to use

I couldn't find these anywhere where I live so I ordered them from Amazon and they work great. They work so well I ordered more. They work good in rain barrels.

El Articulo llegó un día antes de lo previsto, corresponde a la foto del articulo. Material y acabado con buena calidad. Por mi parte yo lo recomiendo.
