Has been a real wife saver!
My wife takes several different kinds of pills/vitamins twice a day; once in the morning and once before bed. It became such a routine, and sometimes she was so tired in the morning or evening she would accidentally take the wrong pills, forget to take her pills, or take them twice. When that happened, it would have an extremely negative effect on her quality of life. After one recent week where the wrong medicine was take 4 times, I thought there must be a better solution out there! I found this, and several extremely similar products. This one was a lot cheaper than one of the other leading brands. I bought this one based on the lower price but was honestly surprised at the quality of the product and packaging. Everything feels very solid and high quality. Setting it up was easy, using the included instructions. Don't lose it because you may not be able to figure out how to change the clock and scheduled without it, it is not very intuitive. In our house, we don't use the audible alarm so I have it set to mute, but the beep is pretty loud. It is a very high-pitched beep, though, so someone with hearing loss might not be able to hear it. In our case, she doesn't need a reminder, but the fact that only the correct dose is available in the chamber at any given time has completely eliminated the problem of taking the wrong meds or taking it twice. She has forgotten a couple times, but even then at least we're able to see that and verify what happened and when it happened. To dispense the pills, you need to lift the entire unit upside-down and shake the pills out which can be a little awkward. A couple of times she missed one of the very tiny pills that didn't shake out and was not visible without standing over the hole and looking straight down into it. With my wife taking 2 doses daily, this machine holds a 2-week supply. It includes labeled "wheels" for different kinds of schedules. Overall I have no complaints, it has been well worth the money to reduce her suffering and simplify her daily routine!

Still working after a year, and has been a success for mom with dementia
We've had this for over a year for my wife's mom. She has dementia and couldn't keep up with which pills to take, and we sometimes thought she was over-taking her meds, so we switched her to using this dispenser. It's still working after a year, and took her mom several weeks to get used to it, but it was helpful. My wife has to go refill it for her every two weeks or less (for twice-daily doses), and that means she needs to have enough meds\refills on hand at the time to refill for the next two weeks, which took some getting used to and keeping better inventory of her mom's meds. Getting pills out of the device is also a little tricky for her mom... we gave her a large bowl to dump the dispenser into because you can't easily stick your finger in to it to grab the pills out. If she dumps them too hard, they can go flying and get lost, and her dexterity isn't the best. The alternative is to have the staff at her mom's Assisted Living give her pills to her, but they charge a fortune to do that, so this device is definitely worth it if it can stave that off for a while.

All in All A Big Piece Of Trash
This "locking medication dispenser" is a cheaply made piece of trash. Sure it does rotate on schedule when the alarms are set but the keys? Where do I begin with the keys? First, the ad says two, I received one. Not only is it NOT a key because my 4 year old opened this thing with the tip of an ink pen (GREAT SAFETY FEATURE THERE) second the key is just basically a hex nut and the first time I locked it the teeny tiny screw fell out and I had to reassemble this piece of garbage myself. Second, the ad states it comes with four AA batteries, I received NONE. I had to go out to the CVS and buy freaking batteries. So, aside from non locking keys, no child protection or safety measures it is the size of a dinner plate, meaning that if anyone wanted to steal my medication all they have to do is tuck it in their purse and walk out. A cheap hammer later and it can be opened. I am returning this for a FULL refund because not only did you screw me out of $70 but you put my children at danger, cost me extra for batteries and only provided one key and your site says additional keys are about $12. I love Amazon, I get many great products from them but this one I would recommend you no longer sell because it is garbage.

Gives me peace of mind, it's easy to set up, its easy to use
just what my 94-year-old mother needed, it's easy to use, and reliable. I just load it up with her weekly pills and she doesn't miss a dose. it's well worth the price, it continues to alarm until she picks it up and turns it over, she empties her pills onto a paper plate so that her pills don't slip through her fingers. she has had it for about 2 months and the original batteries it came with are still going strong, by the way it has a battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the batteries, haven't had to yet!

It's a life saver!
It works great! It is a lifesaver. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes bigger pills are hard to get out. It's because of the shape of the container. It's narrower at the back. Other than that it is very reliable. I put 7 pills in it with one large pill.

Definitely Recommend!
I have a tendency to take my pain meds more often than I should, espically when the pain gets really bad (I have chronic pain). With this gadget I am able to set the meds for exactly when they're supposed to be taken, and lock it with a key so that I am not tempted to take "extra". My caregiver holds onto the key and the meds still left in the bottle until time to refill. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a habit of taking "extra meds", and to anyone who forgets when to take their meds.

Lock is a bit fidly
Works really well for my dementia mum still able to be living alone. Great for people who forget whether they've taken pills or not. As it only allows for 1 day at a time.

Excelente producto

Great for compliance issues
This has been amazing for my mom who has dementia. She was missing a lot of doses from her regular dossette and often rearranging her pills. This went down to just missing 2 doses out of 28 and this time she hadn't missed any! It is very straightforward to set up also. She has had it a few months now- just hoping it will keep working as its not cheap but well worth the price if it doesn’t break
