Deciding between pixstar 15 and nixplay 15. Anyone have both and have preference?

I have one of each. One for each Grandkid. Just had Grandkid number 3, so I’ll be getting another Pix-Star. The Nixplay took about 300 pictures then they told me I was out of space and needed to upgrade from my $tandard membership. (I didn’t and miraculously it has gone back to accepting photos again…..so far)

Comprato com regalo per mia nonna ed è stato molto apprezzato, con SD ho potuto inserire moltissime foto, e tramite l'upload via email ho permesso ai vari parenti di poter dare il loro contributo. L'accesso da remoto mi permette di controllare i contenuti. L'utilizzo è semplicissimo , impostato per funzionar ein modo automatico e con un telecomando semplice da usare. La configurazione è stata un po' laboriosa ma non troppo complessa. L'unico limite è il caso di alimentazione che non permette un uso appeso a parete ma solo in appoggio su un piano.

La tablette est vraiment très bien. Il suffit de la connecter au Wifi et après on peut tout faire sur le site web de Pix-Star. J'ai créée 2 albums Google Photo que j'ai connecté à mon compte Pix-Star et la tablette se met à jour toute seule une fois par jour à ces albums. On peut partager ce compte avec plusieurs personnes pour que chacun puisse partager l'album qu'il veut de ses propres photos. Idéal pour une tablette chez des grand-parents par exemple. Le détecteur de mouvement qui éteint la tablelle automatiquement est capricieux. Il ne faut rien devant dans les 1 mètre même qui ne bouge pas, sinon elle ne s'eteint pas toute seule. Petit bémol, elle ne gère pas les videos provenant des albums web, allez savoir pourquoi. On peut mettre autant d'albums que l'on veut sur la tablette mais chacun doit avoir 3000 photos max. La tablette ne fera pas la différence cela dit, elle passera toutes les photos. Pas mal de règlages possibles, tous possibles via le site (le plus pratique) ou sur la tablette directement.

I bought this item twice. First time the screen was faulty and had to return it. The second time, it wouldn’t even turn on so returning that one. I’ve had other digital frames from this brand and they worked okay. But this model appears to be faulty for two our two devices.
