What is the length when folded up? I have limited space on a waverunner trailer, just looking to make it easier to move round

The same as when folded down, 23 inches.

can the wheel be replaced with a footplate

If you have an angle grinder, you could grind the weld where the wheel bracket is welded to the tube. Then purchase a footplate, Then weld it on or crossdrill the tube to put in a hole for a retainer pin. Or, as stated previously, purchase a similar trailer jack with a footplate.

I have mine attached to a boat trailer. I lowered the trailer to it's lowest position and measured form the floor to the bottom of the trailer. It is 11"..... minimum clearance. Remember it does swing up for stowage and is even with the trailer.
