EVE Online: ISK Strategy Guide

this is a good book & written well. like the one person said, all this info you can get from joining a corp and flipping throu pages on the web site but there its very nice to have all the charts and info right there on a kindle. id recommend it to newbies and those who are more solo players. plus.. the help chat isnt very helpful do to the large amounts of ?? that get asked in a single second. i often found my self asking the same question several times in a row cause the answer got pushed up past the edge faster then i can read. im very happy i found this book.

While I would almost call this required reading for someone who is brand new to the game, most everything in here should already be common sense to anyone who is already flying anything bigger than a frigate. Aside from that, most of the advice in here can also be found for free in various guides and wikis available on the Internet. That said, having it all condensed into one place is not a bad thing to have on a kindle.

In this one book you can find a new players overview with many insights that might not be obvious. You have many money "ISK" making career choice basics laid out with insight and some pitfalls mentioned. The last section offers tables and charts including a few very important websites at the end just before the books index. All is in one book: at hand. While I'd like 100 pages of tables this book provides 20 basic ones that I found useful.

Some of the things are out of date since Eve is always changing. But you learn to adapt.The Eve learning curve is very very steep but this book got me over it. I guess I'm addicted since I have three accounts.

Is great. It helped me with my first character in Eve. It also helped me understand the market system. It can still help you with the basics even though its not "up to date". Anything new can be easily looked up. Overall a 5 star book.

This guide is well written and covers all of the new game patches except for the very last one which happened in July of 2013. Other than that an excellent guide.

This is a good basic guide. It would be most useful to someone who has not found a helpful Corp to join, as a majority of the information is basic newbie stuff. The tables at the end are useful, and the information is fairly current.

Wholly out of date. I foolishly assumed, at this price, that it would be an updated release. DO NOT BUY!...unless you want to know how EVE On-line was played prior to 2012.

Nothing concrete, just basic information easily found elsewhere. There is a free community guide that will tell you significantly more and cost nothing. A fair few aspects of this guide are outdated, and there are no useful specifics, just a basic outline of very basic information such as skill training for mining and very rudimentary mission running information that pales in comparison to what the "eve-survival" website offers for free. Unless you are completely new to the game and have no idea where you're going this guide will teach you nothing.

This book covers every career path that is available in EVE Online. If you are new to EVE Online and you are interested in making ISK(money). This book will help you make tons of ISK. The book explains every career path, with a detailed explanation of the career, Pros and Cons of that career and how to become incredibly successful in that career. Also which ships to fly and how to build them for that career. The only downside I have found is that the book is not updated to the current version of the game. BUT, the strategies in the book still remain effective and beneficial.

Although this book is outdated in terms of some of the skill training references and websites. The core knowledge and methodology behind Eve Online was still very helpful for a new player like myself. Although much of the information can be found online, i am using this book more than expected to help me in my early Career.

Useful book but is getting a bit outdated.

As a veteran pilot it unfortunately bought nothing new to the table. One thing the Author failed to mention, Google is your friend also guy's. Another element I was surprised was not included was belt farming.
