Pleasantly surprised.
My wife ordered this. When I read herbal, I expected it to be dark green and taste like kale. Instead, it looks like toothpaste, and my family all agrees that the taste is subtle and pleasant, not like the burning overwhelming mint of common toothpastes. We like it; the downside is we'll have to get more when we run out.

Never cleaner
I enjoyed this product while in France and had to see if it could also be available in USA. Yes! And my teeth have never been cleaner or fresher!

Not your Grandparent's Vademecum
Both my wife and I used Vademecum before we were married and for a good many years thereafter. I don't remember when it became impossible to get in the USA but it was 20 years or so I suppose. We were pleased to happen upon it on Amazon so we ordered some. Don't get me wrong, the current iteration of Vademecum, made in Poland, is a good toothpaste. Just be aware this is most definitely not the same toothpaste as that made in Sweden 60 years ago.

Love this toothpaste
I found this toothpaste on a trip to Europe i was abl to find it on amazon and i was so happy, when it came. Slightly different than when in Europe but still great. My teeth always feel very squeaky clean.

Matchless quality
I first used this product when it was called the Swedish whitener- sixty years ago. After many years, it became virtually unobtainable Then Amazon entered my life and for the past 20 years I have ordered a steady supply from various providers. The product has no parallel in the garishly flavored world of American toothpaste. I urge you to secure a supply before doomsday tariffs make it unaffordable to folks like me on a fixed income.

All Natural
After using just plain baking soda for a while, my teeth started to get sensitive. During a recent visit to Paris, a friend encouraged me to pick up some Vademecum. I remembered this brand from childhood, so it was fun to see it on the grocery shelves. Picked up a tube and have been addicted since. No strong flavor, all natural and really does whiten teeth. What's not to love?!
