Mmm...a bright, refreshing scent.
LOVE this stuff. It is a classic splash, with a bit of sting. But feels great on the skin. Its fragrance is different from any others and stands above them. Cant really describe it...like being at the beach on a breezy summer day. Perfect for anyone who doesn't care for strong, perfumy scents. It is light and refreshing. My wife cannot tolerate most aftershave/colognes, but she loves this one. I only wish that it could last a little longer---it fades fast. So...slather it on.

My only complaint is that it does not come in a larger bottle. Something to look forward to every day, a splash of this and a small splash of the cologne. I used to wear heavy fragrances daily when I was in my 20s but as I grew older it become more of a nuisance to myself worrying about if I’m wearing too much or bothering others, no one wants to be the cologne guy. These fragrances do last a while but do not overstay their welcome. Very classy scent and it never gets old. Just a part of my daily routine at this point been wearing this daily for years now. I highly recommend this product I bet if you have a large collection they will start collecting dust once you learn to appreciate subtlety as I have. A true gentleman scent. This is all my opinion.

Well, I guess for what it is.....
The story on this product is that it's one of the first colognes / aftershaves ever made. Some places list it as a men's product, others say unisex. I used it for aftershave. The smell is subtle and weak. It's like baby powder and lemon juice. It gave a quick refreshing feeling, but didn't tighten my skin much. It's not a bad product, considering what it is, but I don't think I'll be buying it again. It lacks a WOW factor.

Great aroma and refreshing feel!
Refreshing fragrance without a sting! I really enjoy using this aftershave because, unlike others, even though it may have a distinctive, strong aroma, it won't sting or burn your recently shaved face. And the smell accompanies you for the rest of the day. 4711 has been my favorite for ages and I was very glad to find it for sale here.
