Big Boy Underpants offers a light, positive approach to motivate little boys to become toilet-trained. Snappy, rhyming text and bright, quirky illustrations sound the perfect note to encourage toddlers who want to wear big boy underpantsโjust like Daddy! Sturdy board pages will hold up to repeated readings, as little boys get ready to say, โBye-bye, diapers!โ This is the perfect companion to Big Girl Panties . Review: Got us over the potty training hump - This book was great for our son. After reading it a few times it really made him want to wear underwear and use the potty. We read it several times a week now and he loves that heโs a big boy too Review: Great little book - This is a cute book. I have the girl version for my daughter. My son is 2 yrs old and he likes looking at the pages while he sits on the toilet. There is no mention of a potty in this book. Itโs all about underwear, Which I donโt mind so I just re-enforce the importance of not peeing in the underwear. The only downside is the author chose to call them underpants instead of underwear. Who says underpants? So when I read it, I just say underwear.

Got my toddler boy excited to wear underwear!
The high color illustrations and simple text are very age appropriate and engaging for my toddler. 12 pages long. He wants to read it every day and is excited to wear underwear now. Highly recommend!

Cute butโฆ
The rhyming, story, and pictures are 95% awesome. I just donโt love that it builds up a big boy at the expense of the baby and gorilla. The story would have been perfect without that section. Thankfully my 2.5 yo is oblivious and thinks that the baby and animals are all wearing underpants.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My toddler son loved this book! It helped him with his potty training. He even passed it on to another friend that was ready to start potty training! Highly recommend books to help with potty habits!

Super fun and helpful!
I have this book and the Big Girl Panties from the same author. Totally helps the kids get excited to say goodbye to diapers.

Great book for those little one starting their potty time journey.
Excellent book. Our little boy enjoyed this book so, so much during his first few days of potty training. We read it several times a day and it helped him embrace his new potty training journey. He stills asks for it as one of his bedtimes stories. Precious book ...well illustrated โ perfect length for our 3 year old.

Great book for boys
I used to read this book to my son before we potty trained him. I bought him lots of underwears, some being similar to those in the book. It made him feel very proud and we transitioned to underwears very easily. He still loves reading this book.

Great
My son loves this book and it really helped with potty training. We read this one as well as two others (whereโs the poop and potty pirate) while potty training and the books really helped him understand what he was supposed to do.

it'd be nice to have both as examples to young children
My two year old son received this book as a gift, and absolutely loves it. However, it only shows men and the boy in his underwear and does not include female characters at all. As a single mom to a boy, it'd be nice to have both as examples to young children, that everyone wears underpants equally.

Decent book - for kids already potty trained/in underwear
I wouldn't say it's the best children's book I've ever read but it's okay. My 1.5yo has resd it with me a couple times. The ending is fit for a kid that is already potty trainrd and not for one in the potty training process.
