Replaced a Spear & Jackson for this one. Totally different products. The Hozelock is a far superior sprayer. The Spear & Jackson never did work and in the end after much frustration, it went in the bin. Thr Hozelock worked first time after assembling it, with no problems. I know it’s more expensive and you need to assemble a few bits together, but it is well worth the effort. The quality is so much better and it feels like it will last. Being made by Hoselock, I know I can get spare parts in the future, if needed.

This sprayer has a capacity of 5 l, but only holds 3 l of solution: the rest of the volume is for the compressed air. It can be used in the garden or around the house for spraying cleaning solutions, etc. So if you want to wash walls or clean the conservatory, this is ideal and far better than trigger sprays. Another very valuable use is for spraying cleaning solution along the edges and doorways of hard floors where the mop very often doesn't reach. It was a bit of a faff to assemble all the parts as the fit is very tight to be leakproof. But once done, it works perfectly. I'd say it was well worth the price.

Bought this sprayer to replace an old one which no longer worked properly. I would recommend that you try it out with water initially to ensure that all of the joins are properly sealed. The pressure sprayer was easy to use, once assembled, for applying weed killer on drives and paths. Wouldn’t say that the carry strap is very practical but otherwise it’s decent quality.

I bought the Hozelock sprayer because the cheap ones looked cheap. This one is made out of good quality materials and works very well. Be aware, however that if you are more than about 5 feet tall, you will probably need to buy an extension to the wand as I did - and if you do, you will also be faced with the impenetrable instructions. I bought the 5 L version (which holds 3 L) because I wanted to carry it about easily, but I discovered that it gets through 3 L very quickly. Of course that means that you get to have a cup of coffee much sooner.

It’s described as 5 litre but actually can only be used with 3 litre of fluid. The description of the product is inaccurate. The product does not come in a finished form, and requires complex assembly. The instructions provided are extremely hard to see because they are so small and the parts included so numerous and difficult to differentiate one from the other being quite similar in appearance. I spent an hour trying to complete assembly and then gave up.

First thing it does spray but I found it quite hard to assemble I still have not put the strap on and also found it hard to screw the tubes on it took ages. At 87 years old I thought I’d be gone before I could use it.

Much better than the cheap diy shop equivalents. I watched a YouTube clip of a garden centre video explaining how to add the longer attachment and they said they’ve been using them for years which confirmed my decision to buy one. They’re built to last.

Product did its job it is intended to. Good product. Recommended.
