My pump stopped working, is this a known problem with them?

Yes this is an issue. We’ve been using this brand of detangler and swim leave in for a few years now. We love the product but the pump sprayer usually breaks or stops working before it runs out and I transfer the remainder to a new bottle…pretty annoying but a great product otherwise that we work around for the swim leave in as there aren’t many products like it. We’ve switched to other detangler leave ins to avoid the pump not working anymore issue. It’s a bad design.

To be applied before swimming or after. If after, is it after washing off hair with shampoo?

I use it before swimming and after I wash my boys hair.

Is this natural? I don’t use any products on my son’s hair, his hair is beautiful now it’s getting damaged with him being in the pool so much.

unfortunately it’s hard to find an organic natural product. However this is definitely one of the better ones. I currently use the shampoo and spray leave in conditioner, both are good for curly hair.
