Keeps the cats out
Love it. I primarily ordered it for two reasons. (1) We recently acquired a pair of teen-aged (feline) brothers, who discovered my patio fish pool,.... and were showing a definite interest, though they hadn't yet tried fishing in it,...….( Past out door felines Had, much to my dismay) And (2) Bullfrogs. I'd thought the regular resident bullfrogs, over the course of time, taking up residence in my pool, ere ONLY eating bugs,... til the day I was sitting on the side of the pool (the current bullfrog had become accustomed to my presence) and I watched him suddenly leap into the pool and gobble down one of my young Koi,... wiping his mouth with a 'hand' immediately afterwards, on the side of the pool. I was horrified, (and sick) Suddenly I realized how the last one (a cat finally did in) had gotten so Big 'on bugs' I went to the internet and did a search. Yep,... Bullfrogs are Major predators !! They will eat Anything alive, they can fit their mouth over,... including frogs near as big as themselves ! I relocated that one and the next two to a swamp area about a mile away,... but I Really needed something to protect my fish. This net proved to be perfect. It's anchored to the side of my 4 x 6 foot pool with concrete statuary that sits around the edge of my pool (i.e. I haven't used the included anchors) I have some floating black 'fence' sections across the pool the center areas of the net lay upon,.... so the net doesn't sink below the surface and trap/kill my fish. This all is working well, so far. The net is black, as is the pool liner and the fence sections, so I can enjoy watching my fish (about 30 young ones) come feeding time, when I sit on the side of the pool and drop their food pellets through the mesh. Leaf clean-up is now easy too, though the nets first Fall is not yet upon us (I also have a panel of shade-cloth about 4.5 feet above the pool,.. that catches the majority of the leaves and straw. )

Nice quality netting for pond
Love this netting to cover my pond during the fall and winter. Because it stays outside and is submerged in water, it doesn't hold up more than 2-3 seasons. But thats expected. Large enough and stretches. Easy to install. Just make sure birds don't get trapped under it...I've had to free a couple of them. Protects my pond from leaves.

Mesh not tight enough for small leaves
Works well for big leaves, not if your pond is under a locust tree. Bought this twice and then found one with a tighter mesh.

Great net. Stop leaves, frogs, and birds.
Great net for the price. Mutifilament so even if a piece is stressed and snaps, its still together. Sturdy and durable as my customer had 2 raccoons fighting each other on top of the net I got for her. It held their weight and only had 2 links sever creating only slightly larger holes. But the fish are safe and the leaves stay out too. Comes with a sufficient amount of stakes though they will bend and warp easily if the ground is hard or rocky. Installation is easy. Pull it out long ways and stake one end and drag each corner to the other side of the pond. Stake around and done. No more leaves, frogs or tadpoles, predatory birds or animals, or unwanted anything larger than a dime!

Sturdy and did the job
Kept leaves and debris out of the koi pond. Very sturdy for my pond so thickness was spot on.

Sturdy net
This is the second time we’ve purchased this net. The first time we had kept it over our pond during the winter and forgot to take it off before the first freeze so it froze and broke (that was our fault) This time we’ll make sure to take it off before the winter. It sucks having to have a net over your pond, but it’s necessary when hawks keep eating our fish and chipmunks are taking plants out of the pond! It also helps keeping leaves and such out. The net itself is very stretchy, when we first got it I was worried it wouldn’t fit, but it’s perfect. It covers our entire 15 foot pond and I had no worries of it ripping. Also with it being black you can’t really tell it’s there from far away so there’s no real visual distraction. We have rocks to keep the net down but it come with handy pegs if you are sticking it in the ground.

Falsche Produktbeschreibung, falsche Lieferung.
