For anyone who enjoys Marvel Comics, the designs in this book can bring a smile to your face. Who would think that the good guys and the bad guys were such adorable youngsters. As soon as the coloring book arrived, my husband and I started a bit of a tug-of-war over it. I won but we are ordering a copy for him as well. I'm hoping to see more of this type of “comic” coloring book in the future. The printing and publishing of the book is spot on with one sided printing and perforated pages. I plan on doing some designs in the traditional colors of garb associated with each character but then I want to play a bit with color and give them my version of their costume. My only problem with the book was deciding which character(s) to start with. I definitely did not start with the first page and go from there. I looked for something fun and found Deadpool. He was fun and easy to color with alcohol-based markers with a little colored pencil accent as well. This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing my color medium on the paper: 59 Young Marvel character designs in a slightly smaller format Designs are printed on one side of the page Paper is medium weight, white, slightly rough, and perforated Glue bound but you can easily remove pages at the perforations Design may cross over the perforations by a tad but nothing of importance will be lost if you remove a page from the book. Easy to get at all corners of the design (though many designs reach extend border of the page on three sides. Alcohol-based markers bleed through this paper Water-based markers, India ink pens, and gel pens all leave colorful shadows on the back of the page. Colored pencils work well with this paper. I was able to get good color, blend, and layer well with both wax and oil based pencils. Hard lead pencils can dent through the page. I recommend either removing the page from the book to color or putting a safety blotter page under the page you are working on. That will keep the pages below safe from seeping ink or dents. Review: Color Your Own Marvel Adult Coloring Book - Absolutely love this coloring book!!! I color in it basically every free minute I get; but I open my innermost self up & take my time with this, & be creative, relax my mind, & be me, while doing this. It's completely awesome getting to color the superhero characters I grew up with either reading threw out comics, or watching on television; now getting the opportunity to actually color them however I'd like to, & so creatively as well. Thanks for this wonderful piece of artwork Skottie. Oh & F.Y.I. you should really make more simular items to these. :D -Danniell

My new favorite
Great coloring book. The pictures are simple and not complex. The paper has great quality, takes pigment good from color pencils to alcohol markers. The images are one sided and the pages can be torn out. Its simply everything you want in a coloring book. The picture are also adorable and not random internet images. I've never seen this art style before but it is adorable. I am hunting for more like this. Top of the line . if im lying I'm flying. And I'm not flying.

Perfect!
This is the best adult coloring book I've owned. Skottie Youngs art style is perfect for a book like this. And each picture offers a different opportunity. Some feature large characters and some scenery and others are group pictures with a ton of little (pun not intended) areas to color. I'm not a pro at these things so pardon the pictures I'll upload. Just doing it to give you a peak at what's inside.

Easy fun
Great coloring book for children and adults. It was fun sharing with my children because I knew all the characters from when I was a child.

I love Skottie Young and his artwork and to have these ...
Finally! An adult coloring book I've been waiting for. I love Skottie Young and his artwork and to have these pages to color on my own has been great. Warning! To anyone who likes to color using markers or dark ink these pages will bleed through! Kind of a buzz kill because now my Doc Strange page is kind of ruined. I solved my issue by placing a thick sheet of paper behind the page I work out.

Wish I had bought two!
For the holidays, I got this one for a 12 year old Marvel fangirl. When she unwrapped this, her eyes went huge! Followed by "Awwww, they're so cute!" The characters are drawn sooooo adorable, and from what I saw, all the costumes looked appropriate (not overly sexy). Love this so much, I might get one for me :-)

Love Skottie Young's art! I have always been a fan, so this was a perfect gift for my young cousins. The book is actually quite thick and has a nice variety of characters that doesn't focus solely on Marvel's movie characters.
