I chose this toothbrush/paste holder because of color and breathability. The one we had previously was ceramic and hard to keep clean. I am not a fan of this holder either, but I think that is more about my choice rather than the product. Pros: color, breathability, sleek modern look, & ease of cleaning Cons: design has wide enough space that toothbrushes and dental implements fall through and get stuck, space where toothpaste is too small it can only hold 1 tube of toothpaste, allows water run off onto counter top We will use this for now, but will begin the search for a different design for future use.
