It would be if there is low light environment.

Does it have Bluetooth in case your wifi goes out? And is there a monitor for at home use or does it only work with your phone?

I simply used mobile hotspot before we had gotten wifi and there's no monitor for it just phone and it's very finicky since getting wifi it's only worked once and it's just pretty much sitting there useless so we have absolutely no way to check on our sleeping lil if I'm cleaning in another room
