BAODINI Inverted UV Umbrella for Rain and Sun Medium Size UPF 50+ Rverse Compact Umbrella Auto Open Close

This umbrella was very hard to close. I cut my finger trying to do so. Now it has broken. I will order another Sun umbrella, but not this brand.

This umbrella has checked all my boxes! My umbrella had broken after years of tagging along in the car door pocket, and I was searching for a new one, knowing that this would be an opportunity to try out the "new" kind that fold in on themselves instead of spraying water all over me and the car when I closed it. This one opens fast! It's large enough to cover 2 people, or me+work tote+coffee. I find it a convenient weight - I think it's light without being flimsy. Its a tad bigger than my other, but it still fits in my car door pocket. And being really fair-skinned and prone to burning, the spf coating is a bonus, while still having the pretty mint green on the outside! I can't tell you how many times having an umbrella has saved me from a painful burn. And I admit, I like having the matching colored handle instead of plain black!

🚩 Removed 1⭐-- it worked for a single run to my car in strong rain, but already lost ~all of the reflective coating on the edges (not necessary for sun protection). SEE PIC where gray is and see specs of silver - used to be all silver. This doesn't bode well for the long lasting-ness of this umbrella since it was the 1st rain and have only had a couple weeks🚩 Ive only had it a few weeks, but use it at least 1x daily for dog walking, and often more for running into work/the gym, etc. ✔️It does a fantastic job protecting from the Sun (see lux- bottom pure sun, mid where face is under umbrella, top measuring by waist) ✔️Exceptionally lightweight compared to others. ✔️The size is perfect, and the color, though not important, is cute. ✔️its longer than others I've used which is nice - you don't end up holding it against your head bc the handle has length ❌I have CONCERNS about the spring mechanisms failing since that's what usually fails, especially on umbrellas that open with extreme force like this one. Its made like all the other spring umbrellas I've used (see pics of hook/spring systems which add stress on fabric) I'm not hopeful it'll last long but maybe this brand has done it right(?) ❌An added concern for spring failure is due to fact that it's 'inverted' so there are more springs to fail. [❌/✔️] The wind is NOT it's friend but it's sufficiently sturdy if you point it into the wind (which is what you should do with any umbrella) I don't expect something this light and cheap to be able to stand up to strong winds, regardless of marketing, it's just not possible, but that's fine. ⭐Though it's actually done a fine job of not collapsing/folding in wind (my standards are low though - i used a broken umbrella for ~ 1yr) ❌If you hold it too close to your head (ie while texting/writing a review ;) and holding it btwn shoulder and neck be careful - your hair can get stuck quite easily in the hooks! However it's been great so far! I'd recommend it. There's a dearth of good sun umbrellas out there and this one fits the bill

The button snapped the umbrella open very smartly. One dislike having to completely push in if you collapse the umbrella say for shopping in a booth at a market. Before it will expand again, also you can not manually open and close up have to use the button. I gave if 5 stars as it preformed beautifully in 17mph wind busts by the ocean, in mazatlan mex. I would turn adjust to the wind but when in full sun and full wind. I am impressed. Not once turned inside out, strong metal tines. And the reflection tape saves your life in low light and walking with cars driving everywhere... you know mexico...

I have no idea whether this umbrella works to block UV rays or not or if it stands up to weather because I never actually used it. When I received it I took it out of the package and opened it. First thing I noticed was it seemed to be made out of the same material as all other umbrellas I've owed, wasn't sure it was actually UV or spf 50 like it states, but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and wait till I tried it out before making that judgement. My problem with this umbrella came when I tried to close it. I pulled down on it just like anyone would normally do but it wouldn't snap into place. I kept trying as hard as I could and still wouldn't click closed. I just eased up on the pressure I was using to keep it closed and the thing snapped back open with so much force it nearly took off my finger. Despite the fact that there are no sharp edges it sliced a good 2" cut in my finger that I thought was going to need stitches. Thankfully I was able to stop the bleeding and didn't end up in the ER. Needless to say I'm returning this and not taking a chance of getting hurt worse! This is a very poorly designed umbrella and I would never recommend it to anyone!

Update 9/5 I wish I could give this thing more than 5 stars. We just had a monsoon flash flood with Hail!!! This thing held up with out and problems!!! This umbrella is perfect for Arizona. The one click open is amazing the close is a little harder it will close back up but you have to use two hands or push it against something to slide it back down in place. The thickness of the material is beautiful, it blocks out all of the sun. I can true feel the difference being underneath it. I got the medium size, it covers me and if I let me kids walk in front of me it covers them. Or I will hold me son and have my daughter walk next to me to cover both of us. I do wish they offered a large size and/or a small size. A large to cover all 3 of us while walking or a small size for my daughter to hold. She can hold this one but it is just a little too big for her. However the quality of this umbrella for the sun is so amazing I would buy 2 small ones for my kids. I can't attest to how it functions in the rain, since again I live in Arizona and bought it for the sun. I can say it held up well on a windy day you can obviously feel the wind pull at it but it did not bend or flap. I highly recommend this umbrella for Arizona residents or anyone looking to block the sun especially for the price.

Acabo de recibirlo por eso no le doy 5 estrellas, pero, la única y primer cosa que me ha saltado es que al abrirlo, se abre hacia afuera, tengo que estar volteándolo, y si eso hago en la calle cuando está lloviendo pues ya me mojé :S , no se si a todos los que lo compraron les pasó lo mismo.

Perfecto buena calidad buen tamaño no cabe en el bolsillo pero si cabe en una mochila ya soporto vientos moderados y lluvias fuertes

Excelente producto, protege del sol perfectamente. Resistente y no se voltea o dobla con el viento, después de 2 años de uso constante lo compraré de nuevo.
