Great Product
Overall great product. I've been having some mobility issues and decided to add Treatlife light switch dimmers, outlet dimmers for my lamps, light switch and ceiling fan combo switch throughout my house. So far, I love it! My friend was able to easily install all the light switches, download the app, and do the complete set-up without any issues. I've had the Treatlife products for 6 months and haven't had any major issues with the app or switches (I have an iPhone). The only issue I do have is sometimes I select a light switch to turn on and a different light will turn on. For example, say I select the "Kitchen" light to turn on, but instead the "Bathroom" light will turn on. It's a little strange when I have guests over because they freak out wondering why the lights are randomly turning on and off. LOL I haven't connected it to my Google Nest, so I can't speak on that. I like how this switch has a routines, timer, countdown, and dimmer settings. That's been very convenient. The cover plate is really nice. It's a matte white color and screwless. Also, these switches work well with HALO canless recess LED lights. I bought mine at Home Depot. When the lights and switches were first installed there was a strange flickering when they first turned on, but after a few days all the flickering went away on its own. Their customer service is great. I bought all the switch at once during a home renovation. My electrician didn't finish rewiring my kitchen until 5 months after I purchased the switches. I thought it was a long shot, but decided to email the company for a replacement despite their 30 day return/replacement policy. I explained the situation and they gladly sent me a replacement. It arrive quickly and I didn't have to ship back the other one.

It worked fine - including local control in HA
I had purchased a competitor's Matter 3-way dimmer kit. However, it failed after a few days and it also defeated a 4-way switch that was part of the circuit. So I replaced it with this TreatLife 3-way dimmer which has been working perfectly. I could have saved myself a lot of headache if I had originally purchased this switch! In my case, this dimmer works smoothly with my LED ceiling light (no flickering), and provides brightness from barely On (like a night light) to full brightness, I typically use Matter devices because they are guaranteed to give me local control (rather than Cloud based), and also give me protection against a manufacturer going out of business (which has burned me in the past). To give me local control in Home Assistant despite this not being a Matter device, I set this switch up using the Tuya App (rather than TreatLife or Smartthings or Smart Life). I then added it to the Tuya Local integration in Home Assistant. Getting Local Tuya set up in HA is a bit tedious, but well worth it - I'm glad I did that long ago! (Note: when asked for device type in Local Tuya, I chose Treatlife switch). I have two "must haves" when it comes to dimmers. One is smooth operation with no flickering, and the other is Local Control in Home Assistant. This dimmer met both of my requirements. My living room lights now automatically turn On & Off at my desired brightness (based on presence zone detection & Time-of-Day), and the response time is immediate since control does not require cloud services or my ISP.

Extremely easy to setup, wonderful product and brand
I bought treatlife products before and love this brand very much, prefer it to other well known brands. This item comes with two switches that could be used independently which is extremely convenient because I wanted to install one to replace a current three way setup in a hallway and wanted to use the other one in a bedroom. I only had to buy this item because it serves both purposes and comes with two switches. The switches come with accessories needed to install the, such as instructions, screws and wing nuts. The instructions explain the different setups and were very easy to follow. The back side of the switch has all the wires labelled. After removing the old switch I it was extremely easy to install the new one since I already had a neutral in the junction box. After installation and turning in the electricity, I was able to turn on the light manually before even setting up the switch with the app. The switch displayed a red circle at first so I pressed the switch for about 8 seconds and it started blinking fast. I then logged in to the app and chose the add button and selected dimmer switch. I connected the tablet to 2.4 GHz WiFi and put my tablet close to the switch. It took the app about 30 seconds to detect the switch and set it up automatically. I the changed the name of the switch and was able to use it with google assistant since I already has the smart life app linked to google assistant. And that’s it, setup couldn’t be any easier. I highly recommend this switch. I put the rating of the google assistant integration in place of the Alexa integration rating because Amazon does not let us choose between Alexa and google.

WARNING: Design flaw causes odd behavior
While the dimmers work well in general, be aware that there are flaws that TreatLife does not advertise. All TreatLife dimmers leak currant, so when using LED lights, only 1 dimmer can be installed per circuit [circuit breaker]. Installing more than one WILL cause other lights to either turn on when switched off, or to flash/flicker when on and off. This is a known issue and caused by the way the circuitry is designed. I cannot verify that using incandescents or CFLs would not have this issue, but I imagine they will be fine as the currant is low enough it should pass through without creating light. Below is my review of the dimmers aside from this issue: I bought several of these and am mostly happy with the ones that work. PROs: Easily and quickly added to the Tuya app. Picked up by Alexa as soon as they are integrated. Wide footprint means that when screwed in, they sit flat/flush with the wall and do not suffer from the twisting that can sometimes occur. CONs: 2 of my 4 we're DOA. No big deal, it happens. Working on a return now. On the remaining units, the holding or rapidly pressing the + or - buttons results in a SLOW brightening or dimming. If you constantly adjust your dimmness manually, it'll feel like a pain. Also, these units have wire attachments rather than the standard, meaning you'll have to cram extra wire and connectors in the box than if they had the standard screw terminals. Not a game-changer, but worth considering as it's a little extra work and sometimes a pain.

Good light switch. Fair price, and works with Alexa
Good switch for the money, operate as expected and look nice. Pairing wasn’t too difficult with smartphone software. I would recommend.

If you want matching switches for your 3-way lights, STAY AWAY FROM TREATLIFE!
I recently embarked on a large home renovation project and decided to install smart switches for all my lights, ordering 20 TreatLife switches, along with multiple 2-gang and 3-gang wall plates. Unfortunately, this decision turned into the biggest headache of the project. During installation, my electricians discovered that the TreatLife smart 3-way switches didn’t work with the other TreatLife 3-way switches and would need to be paired with non-smart switches. The lights would randomly go to the dimmest setting. Worse, I had no choice in which side the smart switch went on due to existing wiring, leading to awkward placements where smart switches were alone, and non-smart switches were grouped with others—resulting in a messy, unattractive look (see images). I contacted TreatLife, and while each response took a day or more, they finally confirmed that their 3-way smart switches only work with 3-way non-smart switches, WHICH THEY DON’T EVEN MAKE! Not very smart for a ‘smart’ switch company. They offered no solution for the mismatched look, and to top it off, refused to accept returns on the unopened switches that would not work with their other switches as it had been over 30 days. I ultimately found a solution with Lutron Caseta switches, which allow two matching switches on either side of the 3-way configuration through an innovative remote that can be installed to look just like the hard-wired switch while allowing way more flexibility with installation locations since no wiring is needed for the remote side. The result? A seamless, functional setup I love. While it required an additional investment and another electrician visit, the new system is worth every penny. If you want matching switches for your 3-way lights, STAY AWAY FROM TREATLIFE.

Excellent Operation Once Installed
The Treatlife 3-Way Smart Dimmer Switch was the 2nd stop in my smart switch journey. The single pole switch was a simple straight forward installation. Moving up the the 3-way switch, while still simple, was not straight forward. There's still the challenge of getting the switch and all the wires to fit in the gang box. The bigger challenge is understanding how 3-way stitches are wired. Treatlife does a good job explaining this in their instructions as best they could given that not all wiring is the same in every house. First of all I learned that in a 3-way installation 1) there's only one 3-way switch while the other switch is a single pole; 2) the 3-way switch is to be place in the gang box where the load wire comes in from the electrical box. While it stated that this most likely is the switch closest to the electrical box, this was not the case with my installation. And since my installation was a separation between ceiling fan and ceiling fan light, the wiring wasn't text book and the neutral wire was not in the gang box. Luckily there was a switch directly the switch I was replacing that had a neutral wire that I was able to tap into. Once all the installation concerns were ironed out, the Treatlife 3-way switch easily was recognized by the Treatlife app and discovered automatically by Alexa. As with the single pole, I right away was able to either use my voice, switch, or app to turn on, turn off, or dim/brighten the ceiling fan light. I'm very happy with the product and I learned something about wiring while I was at it.

Works as advertised, but lose connection to wifi a few times
I bought 10 of these Smart Dimmer 3-way switch, installed by electrician. They work as advertised. Only need one Smart 3-way switch for one night, the other switch can be a dumb switch. Sometimes, the dimmer may cause the light to flicker. I have these installed for over 1 year, but lately a few switches started to "disconnect". Alexa would say the switch is not responding. Checking the app, said device disconnected and had to re-connect. While the re-connect is successful, it requires the device to be added to Alexa and Google Home again. And I had to re-connect on premise. It defeats the purpose to try to control the lights remotely.
